Perfect cooler for the water
This cooler was a gift to my husband who loves to spend his Saturday afternoons floating in the lake with his music set up on the shore. He fills with ice and beer and tethers the cooler to his float. He can open the cooler with one hand. Ice stays solid for a long time. He is very very pleased. (He puts the cooler in a beach wagon to transport down to the lake. It’s awkward to carry and heavy with 15 beers and ice :)

Great floating cooler
Was a gift and the recipient loved it. She is kayak enthusiast and has used it several times.

Great for a creek or river float
Found this on Amazon and it is flipping awesome. We live on the Wappoo Creek and the Stonno River in Charleston. We float quite often and the small one of these can hold 15 12oz. cans and a 10lb. bag of ice. Several neighbors have also purchased, however I was the boss and went in first! A+++

Great item, close to 5 stars...
I recently purchased the 15-quart CreekKooler for a weekend "Back-Yakking" trip in Arizona. The item worked well and only missed getting 5 stars over some minimal not-picking. This is a great item. We had another member of our group with the same item in red and he enjoyed his as well.I gave it 4 stars and likely could have talked myself into the full 5 stars if not for some minor things....Positives- sturdy and rugged design. We had to paddle through several downed trees and debris and the CK worked great, no damage or issues. I loved the color (lime green) and it matched my kayak fairly closely. I love the small hole that allows you to display a flag (safety flag/Old Glory) and the o-ring on the seal looked to be high-quality. The cup holders worked and I didn't have any spills. Ice stayed in the cooler in Arizona summer, lasted about 36 hours. Cost seems fair, especially considering what companies like Yeti are charging. I also think this is about the perfect size and I'm glad I didn't order the 30-quart as I feel that would be overkill for 90% of my trips. This one seems to have the right blend of capacity and weight for a weekend trip.Cons- Capacity seems over-stated. There's no way I was going to fit 15 12-ounce cans and then add ice (10 pounds???). I would say I was able to get 7-10 cans in there at the most . The lid can be challenging to operate one-handed. The lid is a turn-to-close design and can be tough to do while holding a paddle or otherwise. Removing the lid while in the water involved using both hands and holding the hull while twisting the lid with the other hand. The carry handles also double as tow handles and tend to wander from left to right while paddling. Making one side have a more centralized area for towing could help this (not sure, haven't tried yet, but might drill a central hole in my carry handle).I also kept my CreekKooler on a shorter tether (about 16") and was able to bring it around close enough to the boat to remove items from it while still keeping it short enough that it doesn't bind up on items in the water or track wildly.I enjoyed this item and would recommend it to others.

Nice cooler
The cooler tracked behind my kayak well. It stayed upright the whole float. The only negative part is the seal came loose from the base after the first trip. I thought that would be an easy fix but can't get the glue to hold it in place.

Capacity is NOT what is advertised, lots of drag
Seems sturdy, will test later. Color is NOT the OD green in the photo, it is a lime green. So don’t purchase this to match an OD green kayak like I did. I would have rather gone with orange or red if it’s going to not match in color.I appreciate that it’s made in the US!***UPDATE***Took it out to use it. It feels like you’re kayaking while your anchor is dragging along the bottom. The front end digs down into the water and creates insane drag. I ended up just putting it on the back of my kayak so I could make any progress at all. Note: I was using the $13.99, sold separately, CreekKooler tow strap designed specifically for this by the same company.Capacity: the description says 15 standard 12oz cans AND 10lbs of ice. After playing Tetris for quite a while, the most I got in there was 7 cans and 6lbs of ice before it was topped off. Not nearly the capacity advertised.

Nice product that needs improvement.
Great idea but short on design quality.Mine is for holding drinks in the water so I don’t need to climb back in the boat to get a drink. My order came in a box the that almost three sizes the product size. I was surprised it was not broke. It was very dirty like it had been sitting on a warehouse shelf for a year. The black bolts were rusty. There are gaps in between the top and bottom inside and out. The seal on the lid was black window seal that puts marks on the white lid. Why use carbon steel bolts on an item that is in the salt water rusting.I cleaned it up and sealed the gaps on the inside and outside (epoxy inside and clear silicon on the out side) and replaced at the rusty bolts with 316 stainless bolts. I took the black window seal off and put on a proper sized Oring. I also added a bottle opener on a cord. Now I love it but I should not have done this to make the product right.

Everybody asks where I got this
This is the coolest cooler! Wherever I take it, people paddle over to ask where I got it. It's perfect to tow drinks and food for a picnic for one or two people. The lid is very tricky to manage like other reviews note. It stays on, but I wouldn't trust it in a tipping over motion. Hopefully that part of the design will improve over time. But this is a great cooler to tow along behind my SUP. It helps me stay on the water longer at the lake!
