Shed Pal As Seen On TV

I bought the shed pal for my dog. Which is a jack russell terrier.He's a short haired dog, but sheds a lot of small hairs.I seen the commercial for the shed pal one day and decided to try it out for my dog.I got a link to buy the product from Amazon.com.The product arrived on time.I was very impressed how fast they shipped it after me ordering online.The product itself did not satisfy my needs to help the shedding of my little dog. I recommend no one to buy this shed pal for your pet it will not work.It is simply a waste of money.Although the product was not satisfying. Does not mean I would not buy any products from amazon.com in the future.Because they do have great prices for items you are looking for. With a prompt time delivery as well.

I saw a review of this product on my local news (Jesse Jones, King 5 News). His test did not work on the dogs, but it worked on the groomers clothes. I have two large dogs and spend a lot of time with rollers to remove their fur from my dark clothes. No matter how much I brush them, they always leave fur on my clothes when they get too close (like a friendly greeting when I get home). I decided to give it a try.Yeah! Jesse was right! This works great to remove the pet fur from my pants and jackets. A quiet vacuum pulls the hair off without any effort. It looks like a large fabric lint/pill remover, but is a vacuum that glides over my clothes, pulling all of their fur along the way.I would not use this on my dogs or cats (the cats ran at the sound of the vacuum). The review from Jesse Jones determined that it would only remove the top layer of dogs fur. I use a furminator (purchased on amazon) to get at their undercoat - which is the only way to really brush them.5-Stars as a pet hair remover.[...]

I should have paid attention to the other reviews on this. I have a husky/German Shepard mix that sheds heavily and constantly. She is petrified of the sweeper which I've attached a shedding blade to before to suck up the hair. That works well but scares her. I have been looking for a product that is quiet but has enough suction to pull her hair in. Deshedding her is such a mess. Her hair flys everywhere. This product was a waste of money. First of all the container that holds the hair would only hold about a fourth of what comes out in one session. Secondly, it doesn't have enough suction. Half the hair went in the container but the other half just flew into the air. This was not very quiet either. It still scared her. Guess I will keep looking for that perfect product...

You would assume that you run this thing on your pet's coat and it picks up the loose hair as you go. Nope. The instructions tell you very clearly to leave it turned OFF as you brush your pet until the fur collects in "clumps", and THEN you turn it on and vacuum up the clump. The brush has short rubber nubs that don't collect any hair, so...no clumps to pickup. I even tried brushing with the motor running, and still nothing. Almost no suction. I guess I should not have expected much for ten bucks!

I have a German Shepherd. GSD's have two coats of fur. In an hours time a GSD can leave enough fur to fill a 20 ton dump truck. GSD's require daily brushing, not only to keep from being buried alive in fur (not kidding), but also to keep their coats from becoming knotted. I read the bad reviews and got a lot of laughs. But since the price of this gadget was only $1.32 I decided to try it after reading a 5 star review. I have used this product in accordance with the manufacturer instructions. It works phenomenal! And my dog absolutely loves it. The fan made very little noise (no I'm not deaf). The brush collects the hair as said and then you simply turn on the vaccum and it totally collects the fur! This product is awesome and so helps take care of my GSD while saving a lot of time keeping my home clean. The product works. All fur gets collected in the canister and when that gets full you simply open the door and turn the vacuum on and it shoots the fur out for you in a trash can. Simple and easy, very handy.

I only use this as a battery-powered vacuum to vacuum up human hair from the bathroom floor...and for this use specifically, I like it and it works.I cannot review the Shed Pal for use on an animal as I do not have a pet. But if I had to guess, I would guess it is way too under-powered for that, which explains so many negative reviews, of course.For the $8.99 I paid, I am very happy to have a small, hand-held, alkaline-battery-powered vacuum to spot-vac hairs that are always present on my bathroom floor.What I Do not like: There are holes at the end of the collection piece, and you will have hairs sticking out of those holes...but the hair doesn't seem to fall out of the holes, which is good. I would have much preferred a different design where you did not always have hairs sticking out of the rear holes after vacuuming up hair. (But for $8.99, I know I cannot ask for that.)

Unit arrived with fur compartment door broken, so it was unusable. I had one of these from years ago which my cat loved. I could see that the compartment door hinge on the old one was wide and sturdy, whereas the new one was a tiny flimsy plastic hinge, and already broken. When I went to return/replace, I am told that a 20% stocking fee plus return postage will be charged to me, and no option for a replacement! This is terrible customer service. A defective unit should be replaced with no charge.

Doesn't work as well as the last one. I think they're fazing out. I couldn't find these in any stores advertised. Reviews aren't so great. I'd bought one a couple of years ago and it worked great. This one doesn't seem to remove any hair at all. Not sure what changed. Great price. Very fast delivery. Just the product doesn't work like it used to.
