I DON'T REMEMBER IF IT WAS A TELECASTER OR A STRADACASTER, BUT I DO REMEMBER THERE WAS A HORNY COKED-OUT ROOSTER!!!
In the eternal words of Meatloaf, 'I don't know what it is, but..'.When trying to come up with the best description I possibly can for Kill Audio, I want to make references to The Wonderful Wizard of Oz , Metalocalypse and American Gods: A Novel somehow all having a baby together, but that wouldn't quite sum it up. It's one demented and hilarious riot of a fantasy. There's a lot going on, and the drugged-out but totally amazing artwork really helps you slip into that comic-induced euphoric state we fanboy/junkies love. It's an epically rad story, and I'm definitely stoked on the hardcover edition.Seriously though, Mr. Sheldon's artwork is pretty sweet. The closest comparison I can think of for the art is Rob Guillory's work in CHEW and Gabriel Ba's in The Umbrella Academy . Sheldon uses a streamlined animated style with a black, white & red color palette - also gray, if black doesn't already imply that. I love the imagery; it's as otherworldly as it is rock-n-roll.The book itself deserves accolades even if it were for the worst comic series ever. The dust-jacket is gorgeous, and exceptionally thick and durable. I doubt you'll find many other graphic novels with as glossy and/or as high-quality of paper as Kill Audio. There's a full cover gallery, a short-story, character sketches.. and an interview excerpt with ex-street hustler, turned celebrity talk show host and life coach, Billy 'Toucan' Fandango. Hurray!! And there's even a nice red ribbon for you to keep your place, like in fancy novels. It's a messed-up good time. Buy it!!

The wait was worth it.
I enjoy Claudios music in C & C and have also read the Amory Wars comics, both are superb. Kill Audio is an entirely different thing. KA is a troll looking dude who can not just die, several attempts have been made, but why is he immortal? Is there something more to his existence? And so he embarks on a journey with a Coked out chicken, a skeleton who is a music connoisseur and his pal. I didn't know what to expect, the premise wasn't very clear to me. Creativity is rampant in Kill Audios world and it is up to him and his siblings to keep things in check. By far my favorite was the art, it is just everywhere, very surreal and stylish. I wasn't disappointed and has already been added to comic collection. Give it a read if you are looking for something new.

Bizzaro world
Wow this book was all kinds of crazy that i have a hard time explaining it needless to say i will try.The art looks very much like a fun house mirror with weird body distortions all over and the coloring employs gray washes with random reds. The story is a bit hard to understand but the midget kill audio goes on a trip of some kind to find out who he is and picks up some stragglers along the way.I wouldn't recommend reading this unless you like really really weird comics and or you do a ton of drugs.

I read it.
Huge fan of Claudio. The story was interesting and kind of links to some modern ideas for an older comic. The ending seemed rushed though.

A Fun Read.
Hard to read and grasp at time. But if you obtain a knowledge and love for music as well as for Claudio you'll have no problem blazing through this collection of the kill audio series.

Claudio definitely has an imagination.
I am a huge fan of Coheed and Cambria. I purchased this to see what Claudio could do outside of the Keywork universe. It's great. The characters are pretty funny and the artistic stylings are very entertaining. I'm planning on picking up the new one eventually.

Killer new title by Claudio Sanchez
Claudio Sanchez does it again. The story of Kill Audio is unique and intriguing. It draws you into the characters mind's and doesn't let you out. If you are a fan of Sanchez's other stories (Amory Wars, Key of Z) this is a must have.

Three Stars
I love Claudio and C&C but I can't get behind this. The story just doesn't do it for me.

Psychedelic madness and mayhem -I love it!
This...unique work combines several things I love:A limited colour paletteHighly detailed, funky art (I loved the previous work, SuperTron, by this artist)Highly original, bizarre setting and storytellingA six foot chicken with a severe cocaine addiction and an animated skeleton with a literal Viber are two of the more sensible cast members -need I say more?
