This is the book I was searching for! I love the visuals and interactive approach. The paper quality is excellent, the writing is clear, and the activities are super fun.I’d love to see a version 2 that explores color mixing with warm and cool colors.It's a fantastic resource for anyone interested in color theory and watercolor!

This book is a must in any type of art you may be interested in. Yes it’s a watercolor work book but color theory knowledge is a must in almost every type of media there is!! This book is fun and there are so many great projects that explain how colors work together. You can paint the projects in the book, which I love, or paint them on watercolor paper of your choice. The author is a master of colors!! Her stories about how she’s always been drawn to color and now it’s her career??? I couldn’t imagine how happy I’d be if working with color was something I got paid to do. If your reading reviews you must be interested in buying this book. I 100% recommend it thoroughly.

I'm a kind of go with the flow kind of gal and this book challenged me to think about color in different ways. This book is loaded with information if you are looking to learn and use color theory in your paintings. It is loaded with exercises to get you to look at and experience color in different ways. Not totally my cup of tea but a well written book.

This was a great find and its basically new. I love how I can work in it along with the lessons! I am so happy I bought it and I came across on another artist channel. Everyone should get this book refresh or to do exercises that will level up your art!

This is a great book for working through color study. There are exercises for practice and learning.

This book is so fun! I love painting right in the book. And I'm learning lots! When I finish an exercise and it's dry, I set the book under several other heavy books so it continues to lie flat. I'm having a great time with this! Highly recommend.

I bought this book because I needed a creative outlet for myself. I am so glad I bought it and that this book exists at all. I love that there are "color mediations" where you get to play and test out fun techniques, and it does in fact calm me down. I find myself looking forward to "art time". The color journey the book takes you through is teaching me a lot about color and watercolor in general. The book is very beginner friendly and very well done. Each exercise is taking me a good chunk of time, so i feel like it is definitely worth the price. I am overly pleased to have found this book. I hope I can find more books like this when I am done.
