The only way to fight scale!
I have 3 maple trees that started popping up with hard scale about 3 years ago. I didn’t even know what scale was until I saw our neighbor’s trees that were completely covered in them and then starting spotting the ugly beasts on my beautiful trees.I tried everything from scrubbing off, smothering them and scraping them off (at least what I could reach) using every different spray on treatment under the sun and unfortunately only spraying a mixture of canola oil and water on the hose sprayer seemed to slightly help, but it was a huge mess and I felt like the neighborhood idiot every time I had to go outside and spray my trees down. I’m a tree lover, most ppl just don’t understand. Then I learned that ants actually farm scale. Yes ants introduce the scale to the trees and then they take advantage of the sap that the scale gain access to. So I noticed thousands of ants climbing up and down my maples which I tried to stop with multiple remedies like Vaseline and sticky wraps but nothing could stop the ants. On top of that my trees were always surrounded by flies, yellow-jackets and wasps all of these bugs are just taking advantage of the scale giving them easy access to the sweet maple sap.Long story short, my maples were crawling with pests and they were driving me nuts. Then I read somewhere about some old farmer mentioning using this BioAdvanced 12 month treatment and how it worked from the inside out and only needs one treatment every year so much better than spraying my trees 20ft trees every 6 weeks! So I applied to each tree first thing this spring and honestly the difference was night and day. No scale! I only saw one scale the entire year which I’m pretty sure was dead from last year. No ants! No flies! No wasps or yellow-jackets! My trees just looked and seemed so much happier this year and so am I!

Perfect for Controlling Aphids and Feeding Trees and Shrubs
I used this last Spring to combat aphids on my Crepe Myrtle and Japanese Maple trees and Photinia, Azalea, and Rhododendrons shrubs. This product was 100% effective and I never saw a single aphid during Spring and Summer last year. Additionally, the food made the trees and shrubs look healthier than ever before with glossy green leaves. I have just purchased this again and applied it to all the same trees and shrubs. It is worth every penny since it is only applied once and protects and feeds for the entire growing season.

Highly recommended by experts and simple to apply
When my very tall and nearly 24-year-old Afghan (a.k.a Mondell) pine tree with which I had never had any problems in the past unexpectedly started showing signs of blight (brown needles, dieback, etc.) this was the highly recommended product that I both stumbled upon while researching the issue on the web and also had a local tree service company tell me to apply.Regarding pine blight (specifically Afghan pine tip blight and Aleppo pine blight), there are many extremely useful videos on this topic available on YouTube (see there) posted by Warner's Tree Surgery in Mesa, AZ (a.k.a. Warner Working) who has been in this line of work for more than 50 years. Apparently blight is a problem that can affect these trees when they get to be somewhat older like my tree above; younger trees do not have this issue.I purchased the liquid concentrate formulation since with granules - the other alternative which I have tried with other fertilizers in the past - I inevitably have problems with getting all of the applied product to dissolve over time and actually get to where it's supposed to be helping the plant/tree in question. Application was simple: at the prescribed one ounce per inch of trunk circumference my afflicted pine tree needed 44 ounces of Tree & Shrub Protect & Feed added to one gallon of water. While specifically doing this for the one affected tree, I thought that I might also apply this potentially beneficial treatment to the other three large trees in my front yard (another pine, Chinese elm and ash) and see what happens. Thus, I ended up purchasing both this 32-ounce bottle and a large gallon size of the Bayer product, which according to calculations, should suffice for all 4 of my trees.Note that there is currently an ongoing manufacturer's rebate for this and other Bayer products (see the Bayer Advanced website) until November 2018. Purchasing one product will get you $3.00, two products $7.00 and three products $12.00 which is the maximum rebate available.Presently, I am just impatiently waiting to see what happens and will report back in 2-3 months with a hopefully favorable outcome. I am keeping the remaining fifth star of my rating for this product in escrow until then.

Finally a product that works.
We had a Gardenia that we planted in the ground some 3 years ago that we just could not get to flower. It was also being attacked with white flies that were making the leaves and bark all black. The buds kept falling off and the leaves yellowing. I tried all the methods given online for white flies and non worked at eradicating the problem. I tried the soapy water, Neem oil and got so frustrated having to continually spray with poor results trying to save it. We eventually called this shrub Lazarus because it refused to die but kept putting out lots of lush green leaves apart from the months the white flies were active.. Then the buds started to fall off. I came across this product and decided to give it a try. Omg!! After about a week of feeding this tree with this product the white flies disappeared, the black gunk washed off the bark and leaves. For the first time in the 3 year I’ve had this shrub I’ve had numerous buds open. I can’t rate this product highly enough. Every year Lazarus will be treated with this product to ensure I get to enjoy these beautiful blooms and smells that this plant emits. So glad I came across this product!
