Bacteria multiply once they colonize. Too much could cause digestive discomfort. **Q: Since there is a proprietary blend of 3 grasses, why is there no flavor?** A: How I notice the difference is drinking the probiotics with some water together, and then I drink just water. When you do that, you so notice that the water with the probiotics tastes a little like soil. **Q: Do you reduce the effectiveness if you add to a hot liquid (coffee/tea/etc)?** A: I would not recommend adding to "hot" liquid though I would think they are heat resistant. These microbes are alive, wouldn't want to chance killing them with hot/boiling liquids. warm liquid would be ok. **Q: Who can confirm that mary ruth's probiotic does have organic certification and what the 'operation' name would be, as should be listed online w/usda.** A: Hi, Collen. I am quite nervous about your answer. Ozona Organics is not a certifying organization. The probiotics in their products are certified by 2 certifying organization. This does not mean that your product is certified. And this would only address the certification of the probiotics, nothing else. Please research this more carefully and come back to me.
