We had a 14 hour long trip and enjoyed this game book so much. Helps the miles go quickly.

Not easy, especially if your fellow travelers need convincing to participate in “forced fun!” 😆

I should have paid attention to a previous reviewer. This would more appropriately be titled, "Travel Word Games for Young and Old". I was looking for a travel game specifically geared towards adults- meaning adult themes and content along the same lines as "Scruples". Games that stimulate adult discussions and debates about politics, history, and social values. This is not it.There are some games that require a more mature brain for the word-logic, but nothing I would consider impossible for young people to play. I doubt I can use this book on my upcoming trip as my fellow travelers enjoy a good debate but perhaps at parties or functions where people are not completely familiar with each other (showers, church functions, company parties) it might be a nice ice breaker.

A lot of different games. The most important thing is that you can take the essence of the game and adjust them to your liking.

All the games were pretty lame. Not what I had in mind at all. Pretty disappointed. Some of the games were very boring.

A few of the games are fun, interesting, and safe for the driver to play. However, I got the feeling that the book was tailored to witty egg heads. Some games would be better if using a paper pad to work out word games, therefore, not always great if the driver is involved. All in all, not worth the price considering we truly enjoyed about 3 games, and a few more we already knew as they are already well known.

Bought this as a gift for my daughter who is travelling round the world with her partner in a Hilux Surf.They have limited baggage space so this is ideal as there are lots of different games in a small package. As the journey is planned to take 800 days this game should come in very useful. She was thrilled with it and has already had fun with a couple of the games so it should relieve the boredom of the Russian steppes and the Mongolian desert hopefully!

Meh. Not much fun for a long car ride.

A slim book (less than 90 pages of text), but there are at least 60 different games in here. Word games, guessing games, memory games, and games to play looking out of the window, the collection includes games that can be competitive with other members of your party, with games that can be played if you are travelling alone. Even better, almost all of the games can be played with no equipment at all.The only thing that let's it down is that this is an American import - even the price on the cover is in dollars. Nothing wrong with that, but it would have been nice to be warned about it. In practice`, there are few if any games that are seriously affected by this, but it does grate a bit when almost of the examples are American. Really Amazon need to tell the purchaser this before they buy - and it loses a star as a result.
