This product is good for collecting blanket weed, leaves, fish poop, most silt. It sucks it up without breaking it up. Simply lift the nozzle within reach under the water if it clogs up and the water suction pulls it into the bag without breaking it so more pores don’t distribute like it would by hand, or with a stick/brush.It doesn’t cost the earth, is simple to erect and quite simply a pond lovers saviour for blanket weed.I purchased separately 4 fine mesh sacs as I’d read that it didn’t pick up all the silt.It didn’t, but then your pump will have less to do as that clears up the rest. I had pebbles that I’d not seen for a few years. I can see them now and will be using again to get the spots I missed and should imagine there will be less cloud the next time around.It also sucked up water snails and a baby fish so keep a bowl at hand with some pond water in, so once cleaning out the bag it can be inspected and any pond life can be put back into the pond with the net.Don’t be paying out hundreds of pounds! This works.This is all you need for a small pond and I advise to get the fine mesh replacement sacs as they are good replacements if you need to work quickly as they fill up if you have a larger area of pond. Cleaned the bottom of my pool which is about a metre deep, not perfect but certainly made a difference.It connects to a normal hose (same on I used to fill the pool) and it is fairly easy to use, connect it together, connect the hose and turn on the waterThe pole isn’t the sturdiest it’s quite thin and long but I can clean a 12 foot pool without getting inside it

Ok. I thought this was silly. At the price I thought what's it actually going to pick up? However...I had loads of bits from overhanging trees in my pool and they needed removing. Well. Slap my thighs and call me Shirley! Honestly? Brilliant. And I mean absolutely brilliant! It worked...really worked. It took some time but it collected everything from the bottom of the pool. Yes, it took effort but it was well worth it. Great price, the length was perfect, connected to the hose fine. Yes, it popped off the base occasionally but that was the only niggle. It sorted my pool. Happy bunny!

I’ve bought some crap products in my life but this is up there as one of the worst!!Cheap as chips handle, no rigidity or strength. As for the ‘vacuum’ capabilities. There are none. Just in the time alone I spent messing about attaching a hosepipe I could have done a 10 times better job with a manual filter net. Shockingly awfully embarrassed I bought it

You get what you pay for , the product works but the pole isn’t of great quality and I think will break if you’re not careful . But hey it works for the price

Is it cheap - YesIs it flimsy - YesDoes it get the job done - absolutely.Does a great job, the best tool I have used to clean the bottom of the pool. The only downside is the poles are abit flimsy, could be improved.I have never used one before so I was pleasantly surprised. Simply connect to a standard hose pipe (all connectors included). Place inside the pool and then turn the water on. The pressure of the water creates a vacuum and sucks all of the debris into the bag. Keep it under the water until you turn the water off otherwise the bag will fill with air.As others asvised you can re-angle and skim the top or sides of the pool easily. Excellent to remove grass after the kids decide to use the slip and slide and then dive into the pool.Simply remove the bag, turn inside out to empty and clean ready for the next use. More effective than using a filter constantly.

Works brilliantly, I got into our 3m round best way pool to use it having cable tied a short length of hose to the assembled unit connected the hose and in a few minutes had successfully sucked up all the debris at the bottom of the pool. Pole isn’t the longest, so if you wanted to clean a bigger or deeper pool it wouldn’t be as good but for our needs is works perfectly

I was a little dubious about this purchase as only £12.99 but I'm impressed!The pool cleaner was easy to put together which was lucky as no instructions but pretty self explanatory.The whole black plastic bit must be fully submerged in order to create the vacuum needed to suck out the debris. Once submerged it was easy to use and effective.Definitely a game changer when it comes to kids paddling pools. Quickly removed all the inevitable dirt and grass from the pool. Just wish I'd purchased years ago!
