FlatOut Head Tool for Dyson Upright & Clyinder Model Vacuum Cleaner. See Description for Compatible Models. Will Not Work for All Models

I recently purchased the Qualtex FlatOut Head Tool to replace the original floor sweeper attachment on my Dyson upright vacuum, and I’m thoroughly impressed with its performance. It fits perfectly on my Dyson model and works just as well, if not better, than the original attachment.The flat design makes it incredibly easy to maneuver under furniture and tight spaces, which was something I struggled with before. It glides smoothly over both hard floors and carpets, picking up dust and debris with ease. I’ve noticed that it even handles pet hair really well, which is a huge bonus in my household.The build quality feels solid, and it seems durable enough to hold up to regular use. Plus, it’s much more cost-effective than purchasing a Dyson-branded replacement, without sacrificing performance.

I have an older model DC14 and one of the attachments provided was perfect. I am amazed at how well this picks up and the suction that is created as I watched cat hairs being sucked in even from the side was glorious..LOL . In addition it is awesome right against the baseboards.The only thing that is true and I have seen in other reviews is that the felt starts to peel right away. Due to how well this works, that was not enough to deter me from giving it five stars.My suggestion because I looked and looked… Is that there is no listing of what vacuum models this works for. Eventually I just looked up the model number provided that it replaced and was able to find out from there.

Works great for vacuuming hardwood floors. Much better than using the upright vacuum with the roller brushes turned off. For the Price it’s a bargain for sure.

The felt pads are held on with hopes and dreams. They literally start to peel off after your first use. And where they’re supposed to be a brush attachment on the very bottom there’s an awkward squeegee that scratches against your floor and literally makes the suction action not work as well. I had to pull mine off, but I’m returning it now because the felt stickers are falling off. There’s a reason they don’t show the bottom in the pictures.

We were a little skeptical with this product when we ordered this. However, once we use this product, we love it totally. It is easy to slide on the floor and carpet. Suction is still great. I don't have to worry about hair to be stuck inside the head.

Fits DC17 Dyson Animal perfectly. Great for both floors and any length carpeting. I purchased for my wool rugs, some of which have a 1 1/4" pile, that my Dyson's powerful suction was destroying. After wasting my time searching for a new vacuum cleaner that would fit my needs, none of which would unless I shelled out for an expensive bagged canister (uh, no thanks), I stumbled upon this attachment. Don't bother with this same attachment on Amazon for $69 (seriously??) - the adjustable feature isn't really needed in my opinion.

This extension will, in the literal sense, connect to my existing DC35 and does, technically, work. But for whatever reason, it doesn’t suck at its full potential. Even for lifting dust off tile floor — it’s main job — this really can’t cut it. Basically a fail.Other models of vacuum might work, haven’t tested them.

My Dyson is DC40 Original, old but great. Fits it. Have hardwood, carpet, tile, and thin rugs. Wood is joined with micro groves that collect small matter hard to vacuum out, reduced suction. Have the usual furniture hard to get under with any tool. Beater bar not suggested for thin rugs, all small particles hard to get off carpets. Have been using a 6" attachment in these situations and wanted wider tool. This attachment has strong suction and width makes it perfect for solving the above problems.
