Read this before listening to the bad reviews (LOVE this chair so much)
Okay, I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this chair and it was such an incredibly difficult decision to make given all of the bad reviews so I want to address the pros & cons people have been posting in hopes of helping you reach a decision faster. So here it goes. - "easy to assemble" Yes, it was easy to assemble. I do not assemble things. I do not have much experience assembling anything and even I could figure it out. So if you aren't savvy like me, you'll be fine. It took me about 1 hour to assemble with no help in a small room with crummy lighting. If this sort of thing comes naturally to you then you'll have it done much quicker. The instructions are pretty clear and it was not frustrating like I thought it would be. 5/5 easy to assemble. - "Poor Quality" I'm surprised I saw so many of these comments? I've owned about maybe 3-4 gaming chairs now (including this one) and this one is by far the best quality. I mean, if you're looking for top notch the best in the biz something that will last +15 years then maybe you're looking for a $500+ chair. I plan to upgrade myself with a $500-$1,000 chair in the future but for the price I paid for this one? Oh my gosh. It's great. I don't need it to last forever because that's not what I'm paying for. 5/5 quality. Please note I just bought this chair about 3 weeks ago so it hasn't experienced it's normal wear and tear yet. - "a loud clunking noise when you lower the handle for the foot rest" For real? Lol Yes it does make a noise but it's really not loud and definitely not a dealbreaker. I would have missed out on a great chair if I didn't buy it for only that reason. 4/5 noise level I guess? - "uncomfortable" WHAT EVEN. I don't understand! I'm so comfortable! I work 10 hour days 5 days a week and have owned it for 3 weeks now. I am so comfortable it's ridiculous. My back pain is gone and I'm just overall satisfied with this chair. This is so bizarre to me because other people claim that regular gaming chairs (such as the last one I bought, KILLABEE Massage Gaming Chair) are more comfortable. Whaaaatttt. Gaming chairs like that don't even compare to this one. In my personal opinion, it's: regular office chair -> Killabee -> Respawn -> $500+ chairs or something in that order. - "not suitable for tall people" CORRECT. Yes, true. Okay, so here's a very important con: this chair is reallyyyy not suitable for tall people. I am 5'0. In other words, I'm really frikin short. The arm rest cup holder BARELY aligns with me. It's almost just perfect for someone my size. It's only a little bit off. And the neck support is, again, only a little bit off. I have to realign it every time I lay down but it's no biggie. HOWEVER, for everyone else who is taller than me (which is most people) I can definitely see why you would be uncomfortable in this chair. The headrest pillow isn't designed to move very far from its initial place so tall people can't adjust it to what would be comfortable for them (although you can remove the headrest altogether, so keep that in mind). - "back pain" As you can see from the picture I bought a lumbar support pillow and that did the trick. No back pain at all and I was having MAJOR back pain issues with my last chair. I also bought a seat cushion which helps out tremendously. - "the material will cause you to sweat" Yes. It does get hot, which is why I have a fan pointed at my face throughout the day. I was already doing this before I got the chair so it just became a habit but it seems to do the trick. - "no height adjustment" Correct. There is no height adjustment for the chair. This does not bother me. If it bothers you then you may want to look elsewhere. - "awful, not worth the money. I found holes" Honestly, I have no explanation for this. That's unfortunate. Maybe they got sent one that's broken? Mine came in with all of it's pieces and nothing is torn or broken. Overall I really love this chair. The best gaming chair I've ever owned. I do not use it for gaming. I use it for work since I work from home and I work 10 hour shifts so I do spend a large amount of the day in the chair and I feel perfectly splendid at the end of the day. If you are picky when it comes to gaming chairs and you need to be able to adjust the height, you need outstanding quality, you need it to be adjustable for a tall person then oh my gosh DON'T BUY THIS. You will hate it. If the cons I mentioned don't really bother you or if you are a woman/man of my stature (5'0, 140lbs) and are looking for a comfy chair that is worth the price THEN BUY THIS. It's perfect for you! I am so happy with this chair and if you are thinking it's too pricey. Nah, bro. Just do yourself a favor and buy it. Anyways, thanks for reading my essay. Have a good day!

Perfect chair for console gaming!
Don’t listen to the bad reviews. This chair is amazing! I’ve had it for 2 weeks, and have used it a ton for CONSOLE gaming. That’s the big thing. Yes it’s too short for computer desks, but it wasn’t designed for that. This is for gaming on PlayStation, Xbox or Nintendo. Strictly consoles. I think that’s where the bad reviews are coming from. I’ve had all day gaming sessions with this and the comfort level has stayed the same. It’s very easy to assemble (15-20 mins) and seems very sturdy. I purchased the gray fabric and I think that is the best way to go as far as comfort. The side pouch is a nice feature, and I love the cup holder! All in all, a great console gaming chair at a fair price.

It's a comfortable long-term seat.
I spend all day in the chair considering I work at the same desktop I game at. So I spend much of my time in this chair. I also want to add that I exceed the 'weight capacity limit,' by over 40lbs and I've had no issues. I've had this chair roughly 1.5 months. Slight looseness at the base but that's because of the little park that you sit on and it's adjusting. Cannot feel the bar that is under my thighs that some people complained of feeling. The arms are well cushioned and everything is memory foam, so when you lift your arm up, and up, or whatever the foam returns it its original design and allows for continual support. Unlike some reviews I've had no physical issues with the chair itself, no breaking, tearing, misplaced anything. It was very easy to put together, very comfortable to sit in, and I'm like I said before 40lbs heavier than the weight capacity. I believe most people are dishonest, abuse the chair and then blame the manufacturer. I however, am very happy with the purchase. Game on! The pillow is to my upper back, I am 6'6" and for tall people the chair will definitely feel a little small, but the back support and the head portion goes all the way to the top of my head, sometimes I remove the pillow and strap a neck massager on there! Overall I would recommend it, my brother is moving into a new house and asked if I knew of a good gaming chair, I would recommend this in a heartbeat. Being as it's on a swivel, it's a recliner, it has the extra pouch on the side for my Steam controller and some batteries, and a few cans of dip! A cup holder for my beverage and very comfortable for many hours of office work and/or gaming. I recommend this product. EDIT: Little update, it does develop a slight wobble within 1-month of use, but it does not get progressively worse from what I can tell. It just remains a little loose in the stand, you can go down below and see where the issue is, just jam paper or metal in there if it bothers you. Attached a photo of my game/work setup and the chair displayed so beautifully in the front! Edit: After 6 months of use the left arm mid portion that has a different mesh design has decided to start curling up, cracking and falling off. I notice this is attributed to how people stand up; many people use the chair they’re sitting on as a point to push themselves up. I learned to stop doing that and just use my damn legs. Fixed the issue from getting worse. The first month I had it, it started to wobble at the base. It still does, bud you can fix it, just slide wood or metal or paper even inside the area where the chair piston connects to the base. It’s just once it settles there’s a slice give that allows it to move. It’s only noticeable when you move around. Still worth $300? I think so. It’s still a damn good chair regardless the little things that most people (users) are to blame for.

If it broke today, I'd order a second one today. 10/10, 5 stars, this chair saved my sleep.
First off, I'll just say this is the best chair I've ever had. the TL/DR is: 325 lbs and I had no trouble, I sleep in this chair for health issues, comfort has never been an issue. 6'3" and very happy. The long version: I bought this because someone said they were 330lbs and had no trouble, so even though it suggests I think 275? It has been perfectly comfortable. I work often, but when I'm home I'm gaming and I'm in this chair, and I even sleep in the thing. I have sleep apnea, and I have had a long history of rolling in my sleep when I'm hot, which as my size is often. So I was pulling my CPAP mask off all the time. I had the bright idea of sleeping in the chair to see if I would keep from rolling over. Enter the period in my life where I slept better than I've ever slept. I never move, I put a pillow behind my head (Remove the one it comes with, it does nothing.) Lean back and put my feet up on my bed, I'm out in seconds and I sleep amazing. This chair was the best thing I ever did for my restfulness, and as someone in the construction field, this is very important. I've never had any part break, and it still feels as comfortable as the first day I got it. Now the downsides, but not so down that I think it doesn't still deserve a full 5 stars. SQUEAKY, the metal on metal design, it started squeaking day 1 and now it's just an old 89 chevy with the original shocks, SQUEAK SQUEAK SQUEAK. Luckily it doesn't shift when you're relatively still, so I only notice it when I recline to get ready to sleep. 100% worth it. The material. The leather on the left arm has ripped at the seam of the section that has the checkered pattern. This is because I lean on my let arm often while gaming or watching a show, and the design has a big block of wood or something that holds the cup holder in place, but has no support going up the rest of the arm but the cushion, so there's a drop off where the constant use just pulled the stitching apart. I actually don't feel it because my arm doesn't brush up against that point, just not pleasant if I do accidentally touch it, the edge of the material is oddly sharp. I really wish this came with some kind of replaceable plug for the cup holder, I've had an old shirt balled up and shoved in there since the day I got it, which was 13 months ago. I forget it's there, because I'm plenty comfortable, but when I look down at it I just wish I had a cushion that would fit perfectly so I could ignore the cup holder, since there's no way I'd put a cup in an arm that is where I'll be leaning constantly to type or game. The flat bottom can be tough to use because I do have to pull it in and out, but I have hardwood and with skates it slides well enough. The bar people mention in the seat, yes, it can be annoying... if you slouch. This chair encourages good posture and my posture has improved so much because sitting normally, the bar actually feels supportive oddly enough, but if I slid down somehow, I'd be sitting on a metal bar. Now. keep in mind, I'm someone who slouches EVERYWHERE else, and since day 1 I didn't even think about it, I stopped slouching and just adjusted the recline if I wanted to lean back. Low to the ground: I had to adjust my gaming setup because this does sit lower than a regular computer chair, but probably not more than a console players gaming chair. I don't know, I've never used one like this, but it was 100% worth adjusting my desk setup for. It has downsides, but I think the low price really equalizes any downsides and with all of the other pluses, I have to give this a 5 because a 4 feels too low. If this chair breaks today, I'm ordering a new one today. I would

Great deal and extremely comfortable (not a desk chair)
I am very satisfied with the chair. I will post a list of pros and cons below: Pros: -Extremely comfortable. This chair is basically a single-person couch. -Sturdy armrests. Many gaming chairs have armrests that break easy and consistantly need to be repaired or replaced entirely. The armrests on this chair are fixed in place and can't move (which some may consider a con, but I consider a pro). -Reclining. This chair reclines as much as needed (if you need it to go further, get in a bed). The footrest may be short for taller people, but even if it is, is still comfortable. -Built in cupholder and storage bag. The cupholder in the armrest is a great addition. I haven't used the little storage bag for anything, but it would be great for remotes, controllers, mouses, etc. I think they could take this even further. -Price. This chair is high quality at a great price without many drawbacks. I doubt you could find a better bang for your buck anywhere else. Cons: -Height adjustment. You cannot adjust the height of this chair. This chair is advertised as a "gaming chair," not a "computer chair." This means that if you are planning to use this chair as a desk chair, your desk needs to fit the chair, not the other way around as it usually is. There are some work arounds for it. I have a desk tray that works well for me. But as many others have commented, this is not necessarily a desk chair and your desk may be too tall. Be sure to check the height of your desk to see if this chair is a good fit. If not, and you are unwilling to make any alterations to your desk (or buy a new one for this chair), definitely look elsewhere. -Size. I am 5'8" and average size, and this chair is just a tad small for me. It's a good fit, but if I were any bigger, or taller, I doubt I'd fit well. If you are plus-sized, you won't fit into this chair. If you are 5'8" or above, your feet will hang off when reclined. As said in my pros section, I don't think this is a big issue as it's comfortable regardless. But it is something you should consider when buying this product.

This chair is not worth $300 - won't recline with feet straight out.
***Update after having the chair for 2 weeks - This chair is just horrible. The legs are raised at like a 60 degree angle, not 90 degrees or even straight out so you are in a weird position, not reclined and not comfortable. Also the leg is having a really hard time coming up and trying to get it to go back down. It's just not a comfortable chair at all and if it wasn't going to be a massive headache to return I'd get rid of this! NOT WORTH $300! I think that is what makes me the most mad. It's literally $100 tops. Looks nice, but is not really functional for resting, reclining, gaming for long periods of time. Original Review: I’m a little surprised by all the glowing reviews. For this price, I expected much better quality. Honestly, it feels more like a glorified outdoor lawn chair with some padding added. (Not as cushy as patio furniture, but more than a lawn chair) The construction is questionable. The chair just sits on the base, and if you try to move it without care, it can easily separate. The recliner mechanism is controlled by a single bar on the right side, so the entire leg rest relies on that one point of support—which seems like a potential failure spot. Comfort-wise, it’s pretty firm. There’s not a lot of padding, and while I’m only 5'2", my feet still hang off the edge when I recline. The chair hits the back of my ankles, and the included pillow lines up nicely for me. That said, if you're taller, I’m not sure how well this chair would fit you. The seat height is fixed at 18", and while my feet don’t touch the floor when sitting upright (which I’m used to), it’s worth noting that there’s no way to adjust it. The fabric is just OK—neither high-end nor terrible. I do like that the zippers hide the screws on the armrests, but I made the mistake of screwing the fabric in accidentally, and that was a nightmare to fix. The bottom fabric also tends to catch when attaching the seat to the base, making assembly tricky. Speaking of which—putting this thing together by yourself is a headache. The cup holder is a nice touch, though—it fits my 24oz Owala water bottle perfectly. In the end, it’s not an awful chair, but it feels like something that should cost around $100, not over $300. I can't say how well it will hold up over time, but I’m not overly optimistic. The fabric version is a dog hair magnet.

Respawn 900 Chair
Super comfortable and wide chair with a nice bit of amenities for holding things or drinks. It’s pretty easy to assemble and doesn’t require too much effort (although you’ll definitely need to watch a video from the website as the instruction manual is a giant plaque) and is simple enough. My biggest gripes right now is how low this chair actually sits; it’s significantly lower to the floor than it is my own desk which has made me question whether I should have conducted further research into these chairs or if they should have just included a way to rise the chair altogether. For the price they ask on this chair, it’s definitely steep and I don’t know if the chair is good enough to warrant what they’re asking considering it only has two features for the chair: reclining and a footrest. Overall, I would recommend it for those who just play in their living rooms or personal rooms, as this chair is not designed for office/computer spaces at all.

Swivel recliner gamer chair under $300, huzzah!
Best purchase ever, wished I’ve done so sooner. I have used my old Walmart mainstay futon bed/couch for many years and it has started to get uncomfortable as the futon slowly sinks into the springs. That’s when I looked up Amazon and saw this chair with everything I wanted without the $300+ price tag for a chair. I didn’t want a wheeled PC type gamer chair, nor the massage chair stuff. I just wanted a swivel recliner with a cup holder on the left side and not break the bank. (Yes, I want my cup holder on the left. I am right handed btw) This chair had everything I wanted and not more and it’s in my budget. You can buy a lower back Massager separately for less than $30 if you really wanted one, but didn’t want to pay the $400 tags. It’s very EASY to install by yourself, maybe spend extra 2 mins trying to align up the bottom seat cushion with the chair back for the two screws to hold it up right. The box only have 5 big parts to put this chair together. The chair leg/platform, chair cushions&leg rest, chair back, and the two arm rests. The tool kit gives you one extra of every bolt/screw/washer for the chair, in case you end up loosing one somehow. They’re also all lightly tip dipped with blue lock tight, so you don’t have to worry about them loosen out over time. (How I got it done under 20mins with no help) 1. Open everything and set them up in a organized fashion so you can count inventory, making sure you have everything you need. 2. Follow the REALLY simple instructions step by step! This is a lot easier than majority of the IKEA instructions! 3. When putting the bottom chair cushion into the bottom swivel rod, it won’t just plop down onto the rod. You’ll have to just wiggle the chair side to side, and let gravity slowly sink the chair on to the rod. It helps when you unzip the fabric to see the alignment/pic included. 4. Don’t over tighten all the screws/bolts/etc all the way till you’re actually done putting it together. As some adjustments might be needed. 5. When installing arm rests, just slap it down on the side of the chair, and line it up to the metal bracket for the holes underneath/don’t forget the washers! , if it’s not lined up, give it a few light slaps to get it to line up. Easy Peezy. I spent less than 15mins total which included inventory count and unwrapping everything, and putting this together by myself. SO got sad that I didn’t ask for help at all, like lifting it up stairs. I bought chair in the USED-like new, I guess it’s due to that single cut by the bottom left arm rest/pic included, so I spent even less than the price tag for nearly 99% new, huzzah! Though the box it came in has seen better days. It looked like it went through 2 Black Friday events/tape everywhere to keep the box together. But everything was plastic wrapped and foam sheet wrapped protected. It was easy to carry upstairs as it felt less than 58lbs to me/IMO. The comfort of the chair can be on par with those nice leather movie theater chairs, just not the plush ones. I’ve gamed and Netflix binged for hours and this chair gave me all the comfort i needed. I’m 5,7 and my ankle just hangs over the feet rest/I like it that way. Of course the chair will do a loud clunk sound when the gears lock into place when you put your feet rest up. This ain’t a $700 lazy-boy chair! Thus the ‘clunk’ noise doesn’t bug me at all. Here’s some measurements I took myself for the chair, if anyone have questions on certain areas like I did for myself. Chair cushion width is about 18.5-19in Chair cushion Length is 22in before it bends for the foot rest. Foot rest length without chair cushion is 14in. If you add the seat cushion with leg rest it’s 35.5in total in length/it’s slightly curved. Chair is about 13.5 in off the floor at the lowest point/near the chair back Chair is about 17in off the floor at where you knees bend. It inclines lower towards the back of the chair. Chair back without adding in the sides are 11in. Chair back with the sides added are 19in at where it curves inward. Chair back at widest/shoulder is 22in Chair back head rest/top of the chair not the pillow are 12.5in. Chair arm rests are 20.5in x 6in Neck Pillow are 12in x 6in. Avg 3.75in thick. You have about 3.75in for the neck pillow height adjustment on the back of the chair. There’s no separate lower back support/massage pillow if you’re looking for those. Cup holder are 3.25in width and 2.5in deep, it’s a one piece plastic tube, no worry of liquids leaking into the chair. Side pouch Can expand up to 3+in, 5-5.5in width, and the length is shortest at 5.5in, and 6.5in at the longest. There’s a separator sewed in the pouch so you have 2 compartments in that pouch. BTW The box it came in is quite huge and might need a buddy to help you lift it. It’s 38.5inL x 28inW x 16.5inH. At 58-60lbs with the box included.
