Why did I wait so long to get these
I love these mats, I'm a long customer now and highly recommend them. They are nice looking and so easy to clean. It begs the question on why would I ever go back to cloth?

Liquids Go Right Through
I have mixed feelings about these place mats. I wanted them as an extra layer of protection for my tablecloth and table. While these are pretty and very easy to clean, if you spill any liquid on them, it goes right through, thus defeating the purpose of having place mats. If you're using them just for decoration, they're great. If you're using them to protect your table or for easy clean up, they don't really work.

Liquids will seep through
I was specifically looking for place mats that don't allow liquids to seep through onto my wood table. That's what I put in my search filter. This product came up so I "assumed" it was for my needs. Nope. It is however nice looking and well made.
