They're pretty big ice pop molds! I make all my favorites in these lol :) I just made some peach mango popsicles with these & they came out great! All I did was soak the bottom part in warm water for 30-45 seconds & the pops pulled right out! I stuck them in a freezer bag & put them in the freezer. The molds are easy to use & very simple to clean. I just rinsed them out after using them & made sure no remnants of my ice pops were stuck in the ridges, then I filled each one with a little soap & water, cleaned it with a rag & my finger & air dried them! These are a little harder to get out of the mold than my  Progressive International PLP-1 Freezer Pop Maker . These are also bigger than the Progressive Freezer Pop Maker.Some tips: You can fill these up all the way. If they go over, they will fill up the area between the stick and the drip area. I also think people may make the mistake of not soaking the popsicles themselves in warm water. It really doesn't melt them. It just makes them release easier. They pop right out with a couple firm pulls & you only need 30-45 seconds under warm water. In regards to the sticks themselves, if you don't want to use the plastic ones that come with it, you can buy regular sticks & just cover the top of the molds with aluminum foil & poke the sticks through there about 2 hours after these are in your freezer. If you wait about 2 hours, the sticks won't sink to the bottom or go wonky directions on you. :)If you want to make something you really love & want to eat a lot of, then I'd recommend these molds. They are large & very pretty! If you prefer smaller portions, then the Progressive mold is worth the extra money. You will get 10 popsicles in 2.5 oz servings & the Progressive one doesn't have sharp edges like the Norpro does. Hope that helps! :DIn regards to the Peach Mango ice pops.. These molds are very large. They make a great adult or older child popsicle. Really too much for toddlers and maybe even some 5 yr olds. They hold twice as much as the Norpro popsicle maker I have. They have a very nice large handle and stick all molded as one piece. I have two sets and have had no problems pulling out the confection. It is true the handles become brittle when frozen and can break if dropped. Careful.The bottom mold section is made of different plastic and it holds up to the fall....so far. It comes with a nice little tray that does a great job of holding the molds up securely in the freezer and is easy to store. Its also BPA free.I would recommend these in a heartbeat.Now for some tips. I had 14 coconut waters I wanted to use up. Makes a terrific base for any flavor pop AND is full of electrolytes so you get nutrition AND a great pick me up when you feel like you're dragging. Really good for young athletes after a workout or game....100% better than Gatorade junk.I take my pops out of the mold. Put them handles and all into a large freezer bag and make a quick second batch of 12. Pop those in the freezer. Set my oven timer for two hours. When it goes off I push a wooden popsicle stick in the center of each and leave them to freeze overnight. Unmold those and make as many as you have sticks for.Strawberries, bananas, coconut milk, limes, oranges, mangos...no end to the delicious possibilities. They are a nice improvement over the Tupperware ones I had as a kid. The tray is sturdy, the molds push into slots on the tray so they don't move around, and the possibilities for popsicles are endless. I'm experimenting with ice cream and popsicles this summer and these are my first popsicle mold acquisition. I know that I will be getting other molds soon and I will look for smaller sized ones. These groovy pop molds make a pretty large popsicle. Not overly large -- about the same size as one you'd buy in the grocery -- but too large for experimenting. I like to experiment with different flavors and ideas -- some work out better than others. With these large molds, the experiments that turn out less than ideal seem like a big waste. I'm willing to eat a less than perfect popsicle if it's SMALL but I get pretty tired of it when it's too big and not the result I had in mind when I made it.That's my only 'complain' about these molds. They are great when you have a really good popsicle recipe or a favorite flavor - but not so great if you are experimenting to discover winning flavors. But we're talking about fruit juices and soda here -- how bad can it really be?!These are plastic molds that are sturdy and safe for freezing. Many of the molds I previewed on Amazon are made with plastics that I wouldn't feel good about using to eat something from -- all of the freezing and thawing over and over breaks down the plastic and you end up ingesting chemicals you shouldn't. That was a key factor in my decision to purchase these molds. The fact that they are a bit big is much less of an issue than my comfort level with their chemical make-up.I've found that it's hard to make a bad popsicle! Fresh fruit, puddings, yogurt, soda...it's all good. Keep checking the molds that Amazon has available -- they change frequently.
