Ai 1981-2013 Multi-Application Pocket

Needs to be bonded in place but fits well

This is a great replacement for the factory CD player on my 2000 Ford mustang GT when I upgraded the stereo. I looked for the stock replacement storage compartment but it would have cost 4 times as much. I am very happy with this.

I had to cover a hole where a radio was in an RV. I made a plate then cut a slot for this pocke. Worked out nice. I plastic welded it in and now sturdy.

I have tried a few different brands of these "Multi-Application Pockets" in my Subaru Outback. Most were poorly designed, way too shallow, or had "features" like CD holders inside the pocket that were not mentioned in the descriptions. These were well designed, deep enough to be useful, and easy to install with NO modifications required and look like they were factory installed.I like to put a rubber-ish mat down on the bottom so that things don't slide and rattle. These come with a top and lower halves which made making the pattern for the mats and sticking them in place very easy.10 out of 10!

Got the job done in my 1998 Cobra, but needed to be glued to stay in the dash. The flanges on the side hold the top and bottom of the box together, but any bumps in the road would cause them to back off, thus the box becoming loose (coming apart) in the dash, A slightly better design locking the flanges in place would remove the need for glue. The quality of the plastic was poor too. There is a bubble in the trim that is visible on the face of the box (see the added photo).

Undersized as others have stated and overall quality of cheap, to be expected for the price. No instructions included, it’s like playing with legos if they used flimsier plastics.

Great price, easy to install and it fits great!

Was able to slap this baby in without instructions and works as intended. Good stuff right here.
