My search for replacement foam intake filter for my Metro ED500 electric duster came across these. Use a utility knife to cut the foam around the pressed down cup. This is much easier than using scissors!▪ These are about the same thickness as the original 2-3/4" Metro ED500 electric duster filter.

I would say they are functional but not exceptional. Thankfully they weren't super expensive. The fact there are three in a pack assumes you will store the two you don't need and remember where you keep them a year later when you go to replace them again. The foam is a lower density foam than the original. If you don't compare them, you may not realize it but the difference is evident when you do compare them. It's enough so that you will see some dust get behind these foam filters that I did not see previously. I would have preferred a higher quality foam filter that can filter more dust from the motor, and paid just as much for a single filter. But if your foam filter is damaged and worn out, these will fit and probably work 75% as well. They also seem to be a 1/8" smaller diameter but I can't say for sure.

Exactly what I needed for my metro dryer. I am a dog groomer and replace these every few months. The fit was perfect and I needed 3, so this was a steal!
