Well worth the money!!
I couldn't be happier with this safe. I replaced a traditional safe with this Titan XL when I found out my old one was going to cost $1,200 to move upstairs. One of the advantages to this safe is the fact that it cab be assembled anywhere. I highly recommend two people moving atleast the heavier parts of the safe if going upstairs. I was really excited to put mine together so I did not wait for help to move the parts upstairs. That said I was a little difficult but I managed to get everything up on my own. If you do decide to do that make sure that you remove the door from the front panel. (I got mine halfway up the stairs before I realized it came off easily and actually said to do so in the instructions) like I said I was excited. (Assembly) was incredibly easy, there is no excessive parts for assembly. It only took about an hour and half going at a steady pace. There is also a couple extra nuts and washers if you happen to lose any. The bolts are pre-installed and capped (a really nice time saver) they can be removed by if desired. Snap Safe also supplies all of the required tools for assembly. Admittedly it would be much easier with a drill to assemble. They advise against it. If you do decide to go that route make sure you turn your torque setting down to 5. On most drills that is the equivalent to hand tight. You will still need the included ratchet wrench for the tighter spaces. Once put together everything literally lives up to its name and snaps in place. I actually replaced a higher capacity safe with this one and was surprised to see that I actually had more space in this one. This one is wider and not as deep as my larger safe. Because of the layout I was able to fit more rifles in this safe. I didn't use the included organizer due to the need for the extra space. A neat trick if you need to store more rifles. Alternate rifles with barrel up and barrel down. This is applicable in any crowded safe but because of the extra width on the Titan it works exceptionally well. It is recommended to use a gun sleeve when storing barrel down. I found that the padding is sufficient in the safe to store with out one. Another advantage of being able to fit this safe easily anywhere in your home is the lack of excess humidity as long as you have a central heating and cooling system (swamp coolers will require a dehumidifier or if installed in a garage without climate control). I did purchase a few more items on Amazon that make this safe even better. Battery powered led strad lights with motion detection. Snap safe door organizer Pistol hangers (I highly recommend this if you have allot of hand guns). This is certainly more expensive than a traditional safe. That said if you ever have to move it or want it in a tight space upstairs this is a perfect solution. The safe and all of the accessories cost around $1,900 and with no interest financing through Amazon it hurts allot less financially. I researched this safe for several months and it seems to be harder to break into and have a better fire rating than traditional safes in the same price range. If you are on the fence, you for it you will be happy with your purchase.

Poor quality and fit
I bought the largest xxl double door safe. The material used is of poor quality and fit is terrible. I have another safe from different vendor that so much better in every respect for almost 1/3 the cost. The door will not lock in place. With door open it locks and unlocks as it is supposed to. When you close the door and rotate the handle it will not lock. The bolts are engaged but you can just turn handle open it up. The safe is also not square and the bolts have a hidden reduction in size. The bolt has one side that is about 1/2” while the hidden part is only 1/4”. These connect all the pieces together. Do not buy a SnapSafe!!

got a good price and I know why.
SHIPPING: Original shipping window was 3 hours. That changed to all day, but if you get on the phone you can dial that into an am or pm time frame. They bounced this package thru many carriers, but with free shipping they need to go economy, I accept that. Minor to medium damage; the electronic lock had minor damage, but won't hurt the integrity of the system(mostly chipped plastic). Two of the somewhat heavy gauge metal panels were a bit bent and dented, but with the bolting system (good quality, not great bolts. will be replaced) should not affect integrity or fire protection. THE SAFE: So far mostly pros. It assembled fairly quickly. The bolting system is sound but i will do a higher quality bolt replacement soon. It squared up nicely and doors locked solid the first time. I was/am a little concerned with an electric locking system, but it seems like the dials are going out of style. The manual EMP keyed entry is a nice piece of mind and worked flawlessly and smooth. The fire protection inserts, well, what do I know. I know its not sheetrock like you'll find in big box store safes. The 2300 deg F rating was one of the highest I could find. I guess i'll have to trust them. OVERALL: expensive but....I like it. It works for me. I don't have a forever home right now so something this size and portable played a big part in my decision. Other than the medium shipping damage, i can't really ding it too much. Is it safe? Yep. Can someone get in it if they want? Yep. Can they do it quickly? I think it may be a project. Seems solid and any seems are tight. It would be tough to get a pry of any size into the seems. The doors are very pry resistant and of thicker, solid gauge metal. Do your research. Find out what's best for you. Big purchases and protection of valuables and heirlooms deserve time and knowing what you need. This seems great for me for now.

Easy to install
Quality product, you install it by yourself without dealing with dealers charging you an arm and a leg to deliver and install you a safe.

Be sure to catch it on sale
I kept a eye on this for a few weeks and got it at the lowest price I saw. The next day it was $800 more. Be sure to verify you are ordering the correct model because it is a generic page with a small note of which item you are ordering. It would be costly to order the wrong one and return it I’m sure. It was delivered in a 24’ straight truck with lift gate to threshold.

Made in China and the quality reflects its origins
I hate giving poor reviews but in this case I wanted to put out a buyer beware. Great concept for being able to assemble and dis assemble for transport and installation in a basement. However very poorly engineered, Safe door has a heat activated gasket which is great however what is not great is during installation you can see light through the seems after tightening the panels together. Gaskets should have been used on the seems as well. During fire this will allow for heat, smoke and water damage to the interior. Safe is front heavy and not secure on carpet. If being used for guns, it is way to small to accommodate the advertised quantity of long guns. Overall not worth near the purchase price. Big fail on another Hornady family of products.
