These are very well made. They came assembled and ready to go. My dog loves them. She is 26 lbs.I would recommend them to others for sure. Love the "indoor/outdoor" carpet used as well.

This was purchased to help our senior Cairn Terrier get on and off the sofa. Despite his age, he still tries (sometimes unsuccessfully) to jump on the sofa and I was concerned he would hurt himself. His dismount, in particular, is lacking. I introduced him to these stairs when I could spend time observing him and he took to using them quicker than expected. He mastered going up pretty quickly but is still a bit cautious going down, most likely because he is vision impaired and has poor depth perception. He's learning, though, and taking it slow. I'm no longer worried he will face plant getting on and off the furniture! I honestly should have bought these a while ago...I am very impressed with how they look and how sturdy they are. I highly recommend this product for your small and/or aging dogs, especially the ones who are still little daredevils!

I have three Chihuahuas who either cannot jump up on furniture or who I want to protect from jumping to avoid developing back problems. I bought the smaller staircase and was a little apprehensive because of some of the bad reviews, but the sturdiness of the stairs was exactly what I was looking for. The foam ones simply do not last. I am so glad I decided to purchase this product! The stairs are the perfect size for small dogs. I had a two stair version in the same size made from foam, and my dogs either could not get up the large stairs or were afraid of it moving from not being sturdy enough. This product stays in place, has the perfect sized stairs for small dogs, and looks great as well! It was made very well, and I can see it will last for many, many years.

These stairs are great. They're attractive and work well assisting my geriatric cats getting onto a bed or sofa. The only issue is that two of the sets I've ordered have arrived with the flat part of the step loose/off (see photos). The shipping boxes are not damaged so this must be inadequate fastening in the construction. The loose pieces can be reattached with hammer and nails but it would be best if they don't come loose in shipping.

What I needed.

Sure this thing looks like someone’s handy dad made it out of scraps, but this book can be judged by its cover. It’s a mish mash of poorly cut particle board and brad nails that just fell apart the first time I moved it. There’s no glue and it’s tacked on with hope and broken promise.

Maybe it was the travel getting here, but came quite damaged. I have repaired it and my elderly dog loves using the stairs as they are stable and don't move while he is using them.

Bought this to replace the plastic framed dog steps I’d previously owned as it was great for my chihuahuas but not so much for the newest addition to the family - a 20lb chihuahua-terrier cross who liked to bolt up the steps, making the plastic groan and usually kicking it away from the couch. The steps came already assembled and are the perfect height for my couch. The wood base makes it sturdy and heavy enough not to be kicked clear. Carpeting gives it great traction. Color matches pretty well too. It’s a little lighter than the cat condo stair set I have for the bed, but not by much. A great buy for those was smaller dogs or bigger dogs with bad backs.

My border terrier had a stroke, these are great to help him get on his window seat - his favourite place. Great sturdy quality, giving him great traction too so his confidence is building day by day

I liked it very much but the height is only 13" and not 19" as stated on description.

The product states in the title that the height is 19 inches but it is actually 13 inches.Very disappointing.

Dog loves them saves your back too

Very useful to help older cats climb to their favourite windowsills if they have stiff joints.
