Galway Crystal Claddagh 6" Bell

this is exactly what i was looking for as a wedding gift to a couple with irish background. it is the custom to ring the bell when the couple is married and, should they have an argument in the future and neither side seems to want to give, the couple would ring the bell again and remember the vows they made and that day and stop arguing. at least that is what the tradition is! the claddagh with its hands of friendship, heart of love and crown of loyalty just pulls it all together.The fact that it is made in Galway, Ireland of fine irish crystal makes it the perfect gift!!!!

Giving it as a wedding gift. Disappointed that the story of a make-up bell is not included and it has stickers saying made in Poland and engraved in Galway. not the IRISH gift I was hoping to give. $57 dollars for a claddagh bell with these two unknowns was less than satisfactory.
