Storey's Guide to Raising Pigs, 4th Edition: Care, Facilities, Management, Breeds

Lots of information about raising pigs commercially but I was looking for a more home based guide.

Good book on raising pigs in a open pasture, the does and do not and why. Very nicely put together.

This is one of the better books on raising pigs. Great for youngsters starting in the pig business. Color photos of the breeds and other photos make it a winner.

This is a useful basic book to start you, in a hog venture. It does the typical Storey job of presenting the introductory info needed for anyone to start. It makes you want to get out there and get pigs!

All of the "Storey's Guides" that I've purchased have been great. This one is no exception! From picking your pig to housing or showing, a very complete guide.

Will always keep this book in book shelf for reference in raising pigs

This book is chock-full of useful information and wisdom won by experience. It's also well-written and engaging. Great foundational text.

A lot of information. More than I expected
