Really bright so far. I bought 3 so will have to see the battery life and overall longevity.

This is a very nice flashlight. I use it on my hard hat and on my fire helmet. It is very versatile. Easy to change between the 2. It seems to last pretty long. All in all a very good product.

Easy to install, very bright, waterproof so far. Performs just as well as more expensive lights. Slight discoloration after a few fires, but no melting or warping. Range of motion is very nice, I'm tall and being able to reposition the light is nice, so I don't blind other firefighters.

I've now used this light in 2 burn day classes, and several times in search/rescue classes in machine-produced fog, and it works great. It's withstood the heat from burn days. I love that it takes "regular" batteries and not specialty ones. I also like that it can easily be adjusted to put light where you want it, and not just straight ahead where you are looking. The ON/OFF button can be difficult sometimes, particularly when wearing structure gloves, due to its small size and location on the butt of the light. I like the location, just wish it was larger or protruded more.

This nightstick is an intrinsically safe flashlight with a multi-angle mount. After using this I don't plan on using any other ones!

For the pros of this helmet light - it is inexpensive, light weight, water/dust proof, runs on department provided AA batteries (instead of expensive uncommon batteries or unreliable rechargeable batteries), bright enough for a helmet light, fits in stream light helmet band, and is NFPA certified.As for the cons, I wish the plastic felt a bit more durable, but I haven’t put it to the test yet, so time will tell if it holds up. It is being used on a Cairns structural firefighting helmet. We will see how it holds up to any high heat during interior ops.

The supplied mount works well, but you can also use the standard helmet torch mount on Pacific helmets. The torch seems to be not as bright as the standard Pacific torch, which uses the same number of batteries.

The media could not be loaded. This is a great light, I bought is because it takes AA instead of those little watch batteries. I'm a volunteer firefighter and it works well on traffic scenes at night when you want light wherever you look.Only issue why it's a 3 star instead of a 5 star is the plastic clip that holds the light. It's far too thin and when I placed my helmet on top of my stall the plastic part you'll see in the picture and video snapped. I'm going to try to make the last section that holds the light out of metal (I know a metal worker) and see of that works. Hate to lose the whole thing based on this one failed section.
