Fantastic hardwire kit made easy,unlike other hardwire kits there’s no need to find the main fuse box on your car or look through your car manual to find an appropriate ignition live fuse and mess about drilling a hole to screw the ground wire to the car then connect the live wire to the fuses piggyback system. It is simply plug and play and then feed and hide the cable,that’s it job done + it’s very similar price to the piggyback hardwire kits if not cheaper. Works perfectly with any mini usb dash cam which I can vouch for as I’ve fitted a number of different dash cam brands with this kit.It is a permanent live for use with parking monitoring but has built in system to cut off the power supply if your car battery is low,so will not drain your car battery or cause starting issues. I use this OBDll hardwire kit a number of times with no problems or issues and it’s so easy anybody can fit it with ease.Saves time and saves a couple pounds compared to the other tyre of hardwire kit.highly Recommend

Great product! Saves using a 12v cig socket. I was worried at first that the battery saver wouldn’t work - I was wrong.Using it for a good few months and had no issue. I have noticed that I have to unplug it every few weeks and leave it unplugged for 12 hours or so as my STOP START stops working. This might just be a ford thing - worth mentioning though.

Works well and (unlike some cheap versions) does not interfere with DAB radio.Power is available all the time regardless of the ignition key position

This product works as it says - it is exceptionally easy to install. However, like other reviews it DOES drain your battery. I didn’t use my car for two days (its a new car with a decent battery) and then I started it but had to stop about 20 seconds down the road to let a car pass. The car died due to insufficient charge and left me stranded in the middle of the road.... needless to say the stress of jump starting it and moving it wasn’t worth the fuss. Better option is to invest more and plug it into your fuse box. The voltage protection DOES NOT WORK!!!

A very fast install, downside is it's a permanent live and I did not trust it not draining my battery with the camera being permanently on. So I cut the OBD connection off and hardwired to an ACC( electric window) fuse in the fuse box. Not a major job so I'm still happy with the product

This hardwire kit does power my android mirror cam but the voltage cutoff does not seem to work.If the car is left unused for 24 hours the battery is pretty dead and have had to make sure I take the car for a drive to maintain battery charge.It also is only constant 12v power supply and not constant and acc which is required for the use of my motion detection camera so the camera always records until I get around to wiring in the fuse box style hard wire kit.It's OK if you want an easy way to power your dashcam but the lack of the battery cut off working has let it down for me.

It works with my dash camera. Installation can be tricky based on the car you have but it works as expected

I have previously used fuse jumpers to hard wire my dash cams, which can be a bit fiddly and require an earth point. This system simply requires plugging in to your OBDII socket. Quick and easy.
