Samsung SP2504C 250GB Hard Drive

Received an unused hard drive that performed perfectly. The drive was quiet, fit well and presented me with no surprises. Finding a new drive this size has become more difficult to do over time. Most larger drives being sold today are too big for the application I'm hosting.

Great replacement for an HD of the same brand and model that failed after 9.5 years.Just a little pricey for a non-SSD and fairly low storage size, but my desktop is up andrunning like new again.

I needed a used Spinpoint drive in order to harvest a couple of parts to repair a damaged drive that I own.I did not yet complete the job but after I ordered the Hard Drive and paid for it, the seller then contacted me andinformed me that the item was damaged and that he had no other drives of that type. Obviously I needed that specific drive, and so I decided to accept the damaged drive as the parts that I needed were intact. However I can never use the drive, and so I would rate this purchase as unsatisfactory. The key thing is that those drives are no longer made and acquiring a new one is difficult and almost as difficult to secure a used one.

Has been working great in our Older NAS device when we had a failure.

Bought it on a budget. The drive works, its a bit noisy, but works. For the money spent, it works well.

Samsung still going strong despite constant use and reformatting - no error segments A+ product

Damit wären die Eckpunkte dieser SATA-HDD schon umrissen. Achtung:Vor dem Einbau sollte man checken, ob der S-ATA-Controller auf dem Motherboard schon S-ATA 2 oder noch 1 ist. Falls es noch der 1er-Standard ist, dann unbedingt die Platte Jumpern... geht aus der Beschreibung nicht einwandfrei hervor, spart einem aber einiges an Arbeit, weil mit gesetzen Jumper die Platte sofort und einwandfrei funktioniert.Ach ja, das Preis/PLatz-Verhältnis ist glaub ich schon so ziemlich unschlagbar... 250GB für nicht mal 70€ ist ein absolut faires Angebot.

Platte bestellt - nach 2 Tagen erhalten. Das funktioniert bei Amazon eben Top ! Und darum kaufe ich hier auch so viel. Schnelligkeit und kundenfreundlicher Service. Das findest du im Internet halt nicht überall. Aber hier stimmt eben Preis - Leistung und Kundenservice. Sollte sich die Telekom mal was abschaunŽ ! Dann klappts auch mit den Kunden ; ) Aber nun zur Platte; Samsungqualität. ABER: Das Laufgeräusch stört mich doch etwas. Es gibt deffinitiv lautere Platten - aber eben auch leisere... Die original Seagate in meinem Rechner (160GB) ist da wesentlich leiser. Hört man überhaupt nix. Schnelligkeit der Samsung is gut. Hatte auch bisher immer gute Erfahrungen mit Samsung, was die Haltbarkeit betrifft. ALso; absolut empfehlenswert (top Preis) aber eben nicht die Leiseste. Drum von mir nur 4 Sterne.
