Wow is what I have to say. I had severely impacted ears both sides, nearly totally deaf. If you are able bodied you could probably do this okay yourself. I however needed help I couldn't get the trigger power needed but my husband could. I was grossed out by the plug of wax that came out but in all this works. In the past I have paid more than this costed to have my ears irrigated as I suffer with over producing ear wax due to chronic illness. This will save me money as now I can do this when it starts to get blocked instead of having to wait till I can't hear. You need to make sure the tip is in the ear canal properly & you know when it's working as you hear it pop. I used warm water only as I have been putting oxtex in my ears for a week before so the wax was soft & very gooey. I highly recommend this for anyone who suffers with blocked ears. Your hearing is strange afterwards especially if like me you have been blocked for weeks but it soon settled & became normal. I have to say to anyone who isn't sure, go for it, you won't be disappointed. Also the spiral ear cleaner is very good it massages any itchyness & pulls out a lot of surface wax to enable you to get to the compacted wax with the irrigation kit. A+++++++

Had been deaf for nearly 2 months with wax build, did the ear oil for a good month before booking in to see the nurse at the gp surgery then low and behold its now not offered and they put me on a min 6 weeks referral list at the local hospital, it was the day before Christmas eve and was seriously annoying me to the point I want to cry with frustration thinking I cannot cope with spending the whole of Christmas deaf, desparate I looked into going private, but no one was open til Jan 6th I found this on amazon after reading reviews of many other similar ones and thought I've nothing to lose i paid for next day delivery which was super prompt, I bought a small bottle of hydrogen peroxide and followed the instructions, very easy but the way, I had my 9 Yr old daughter doing the pumping so as I could position myself and get the tube into my ear correctly, I'm not kidding the relief was instant and so much compacted wax came out (which I thought I'd got most of the conventional over the counter chemist oil and flush way).. I highly recommend this product to anyone suffering with wax build up, its that safe I changed heads and did the rest of the family, no more cotton buds in our house from now on

I've had earwax build up in my left ear for about a week, everything sounded muffled.I've used olive oil drops for about 5 days but it wouldn't clear, I ordered this last night it arrived today and within 15 minutes I could hear again.I didn't have a massive ball of wax come out but where id used the olive oil drops and had softened the wax it slowly cleared bit by bit.It was simple and easy to use. You can use solo but tub isn't much use I just remained seated and used over the sink.My hearing hasn't been this good in weeks!

How good it is to actually hear again! And within 5 mins!!...... I could feel my ears blocked for a few weeks, my hearing was terrible, TV volume being turned up higher, missing conversations with my husband and family, actually thinking perhaps I need a hearing aid! I’d bought 2 lots of different drops hoping that would solve the problem for me, but it didn’t do much except make the wax “ gooey” I was getting really frustrated. After searching online and reading other customers reviews about this particular product I thought “why not” I am so delighted and pleased I did, my husband did help with the “flushing out” as I think it could be difficult to do on your own, it wasn’t at all painful......my God I couldn’t believe the muck that came out first go...we repeated the same flushing and got the rest of it out....how the devil does that stuff get into our ears? Honestly after the second flushing my hearing was perfect, the volume on the TV is turned down and just to be able to hear clearly is fantastic, A brilliant Buy.

Does reasonably well, do not over use

I really hoped this would work but had my doubts as I have had to have my ears syringed a few times now after nothing else works. Near the end of the second bottle of plain water, when I was ready to give up, my ear finally cleared. One of my ears was totally blocked and a week of olive oil followed by days of optex ear drops had not cleared it, but probably helped in the long run. The spray bottle is all that was needed. All the other bits aren't necessary (to me), so would have liked to just get that and pay less, which is why I give it 4 stars, but considering it may save me having to go to the GP in future, it's a good purchase.

Great item and did the job it needed to do within half an hour my hearing and ears were much better.

I had 2 severely impacted eardrums to point we're it was causing me alot of distress and pain plus annoyance to everyone else as I could hardly hear what they were saying. It's in due to that I have shovels for hands and big digits on end of them with a bad habbit after shower of jamming one of them into my ear to get water out ultimately pushing wax further in.However, I got my partner to squirt this into my ears I put about maybe 1/5 was 3% hydrogen peroxide and rest was filled up with warm water and both ears only took about half of the bottle. Can't explain the relief, I bought this on the off chance as it would of been weeks waiting to get it professionally done. 100% recommend it wasn't painful either.
