I live in Texas, where our summers regularly exceed 95F+, and usually hover around 100F+. (Summer 2022, we stayed in the 110F+). When you're outside, doing yard work, or any other outside work, you need something lightweight and extremely breathable to cover your skin from the intense sun, but it must also keep you cool to prevent you from unnecessarily overheating.I bought these pants specifically to wear when doing outside yard work. Immediately after taking them out of the packaging, I knew they wouldn't work. The fabric is thick and extremely solid (no way for air to pass through). I tried them on, and after only a few seconds, I could feel that there was no "breathability," as my legs slowly began to heat up.I'm definitely returning these. They are not lightweight, nor are they breathable. And no way in Texas heck are they for summer. The one thing I think they'd be great for is durability. The thick fabric seems like it could withstand rubbing and being on your knees a lot (for pulling weeds or something). Otherwise, unless you live anywhere where your "summers" are 70F or lower, then these pants will act like an oven and steam cook your legs.

Very comfortable fit. Really just what I was looking for. The material doesn't appear very durable but at this price point I won't complain.

They allowed refund. Fabric was too lightweight. Make sure they are not tight as fabric DOES NOT GIVE.

These are the most comfortable pants I have every owned! I saw the cold weather coming, and I hate wearing jeans. They are just so heavy and tight for me. Since I work from home permanently, I don't care how presentable I am. I wear these every single day. Don't judge me, but I find myself wearing them all day and then going to bed with them on because they are so comfy.I like the zippers on the pockets. A lot of exercise pants are so loose and flowy that the contents of the pockets can easily fall out. The zippers just make sure everything is secure.I haven't had a chance to test out their water resistance. But I have worn them out in the cold a lot. I take daily walks, and it's already winter here. I don't wear anything under or over these pants, and my legs stay just fine. They may get a little cold, but not nearly as cold as my exposed face or hands might get. They totally block out the wind. I haven't yet tried them out in real snow play, but I'm sure they won't be that amazing to be used alone. I'll definitely need some sort of snow pants to go with them.I loved these so much that I got 3 colors, and I wear them all the time. They may even be light enough to comfortably wear in the summer. But we'll have to wait for that assessment. I use them for sleeping, doing yoga, or regular daily use. I think I have now found my go-to pants. Peace out, jeans!

These are the only true summer pants I could find. They are sold under various names by different sellers, but are all the same. The key difference is the size charts are all different. This seller had the closest sizes to US standard. I am 5'10", waist 34 and the medium fit almost perfect. They were a little long but with my shoes on I had no issues. I use these for trail running where I want leg protection from brush. I tried another type of "summer" pants that actually fit perfect, but they were more like regular jogging pants: too heavy for the summer. I bought a second pair because I know it is hard to find true summer pants that fit.
