Q: If it's made in usa, why does it ship from china??

Ours would never ever ship from China because it is 100% made in the good old US of A. So it should arrive in a couple days.

Q: The plastic where the hook meets the feeder has broken. How do I go about getting a replacement?

We will always replace any part of our feeders that breaks, for free, for life.

Q: Where can I get a replacement hook?

Contact the company, if it is an original it has a lifetime warranty. Just got mine replaced after a fat squirrel jumped on mine!

Q: How often do you need to change out the food?

It depends on how many feeders and how many birds you have. I make up about a quart of nectar at a time and use two feeders, changing them out for each other so I always have a clean one ready to go. When the birds are feeding heavily, I change it daily to make sure there is enough nectar and it doesn’t run dry. When there are not so many birds or it doesn’t get empty by the time it has been out for three days, I change it every three days. Hummingbird feeders must be kept scrupulously clean and have fresh nectar so the birds don’t get sick.
