Car Photographers
If you are looking to get into car photography or are already in it, this is a must! The build quality is 10/10 and the image quality stays the same. Yes their might be a tiny change but unless you are a pixel peeper you won't notice the difference. It's nice to change, and eliminate the glare of the sun on cars that are on the body but also the windshield. The only thing that is slightly annoying is when I move the ND it sometimes moves the cpl slider and can change and image so be aware. But over all if taking pictures of car I set the ND first, then rotate the cpl filter. I usually leave this filter on all the time no matter what I shoot since it really does not affect the image quality, and have the ND set to Min. I highly recommend!

Incredibly Durable, but may be flawed.
I’ve used this filter extensively for the last 6 months and can say that this is a fantastic budget option for those needing filters.I will say that during my use I have encountered a subtle vignette when using telephoto lenses at their minimum focal range(I had to purchase step up filter rings so it is technically not supposed to be used in this way), but on the lens filter size it was designed for it had no such issue.During a nighttime photo shoot in the city I hadn’t properly secured the camera to my tripod and it fell about 5ft lens filter first. It survived with only a dent in the metal housing and some paint chipped off. It retains full functionality and saved my 700$ lens it was threaded onto. Just for that it deserves the stars.

Great Quality and Easy to use.
I use this for videography and I got a flip up filter mount on my lens, this stays on my lens always during the day. Let's you get so much more background bokeh, looks beautiful. Vignetting around edges is not visible on 50mm lens, but you can see it on a 16mm lens. So don't use on a super wide lens cranked up all the way!

Durable with good optics
Shooting in the Zambian bush last week, this filter took a beating and survived sand, river water, tree branches, as well as a sugary beverage spill.

Small price, big results.
I’ve been wanting to buy an VND filter for a while but with so many brands…. I couldn’t decide. I finally made the jump with the K&F thanks to the low price point. I thought, “ant this price I’m not losing annything. Besides I can return it if I don’t like it. let me tell you that I couldn’t be happier. The built in Polarizer gives beautiful colors as you can see in my shots above. It hardly ever leaves my lens. I bought it for my RF 50mm f1.8 and now Im going to get one for all of my lenses.

Should have sprung for a pricier one.
Certainly some pros and cons to this VND.Pros:-Cheaper than some high end ones for people like me on a budget. I would love to have a $350 Peter McKinnon one but that’s not financially within reach. Great to have an option like this one.-Works fairly well through most of its ND stops. No shadowing or X unless you go all the way dark. I’ll get into that in the cons but it does work decently until you need a really dark filter level.Cons:-My adjustment ring seems to slip. Sometimes it goes smooth and slow and other times it feels like it’s just two pieces of metal scraping together. It actually makes a scraping noise. No rhyme or reason to when it does this.-The whole front ring rotates freely so when you are trying to adjust your ND level sometimes just the front ring will spin and not the VND part of it. Then it requires two hands to turn. One to hold the ring in place and the other to turn your dial. It slows me down which is never good when doing client work.-Seems to scratch easy. I admit I’m not easy on my gear but mine already has tiny little scratches on the front glass element and I’ve been trying to baby it. I’ve only had ir a couple months but if it continues to scratch easily it will be rendered useless way quicker than I’d hoped.-In really bright situations when you need to really darken up the image you get a pretty uneven dark spot. Mine is in the top left corner usually. It can be adjusted in post processing but that’s a lot of work when you’re shooting a full day and editing a few hundred photos. I also shoot more video than photo and it’s even more of a pain to correct for video.I honestly wish I had sprung for a nicer one. I’m gonna have to replace this soon. I bought it right before a larger client project. I didn’t get to use it very much and realize I was dissatisfied before I had to have it for the project. I would have returned it probably but I needed something and didn’t have time to return it before the project. By the time it was over I missed my return window. So now I’m out the $100 (82mm version) and probably will go with a better one once I can afford another.

Great filter
I bought a 77mm version of this for my Canon L lens. It was a wonderful filter. The 95mm version is no different. I take a lot of black-and-white shots and find that the ND filter adds so really good contrast. I dont use photoshop LOL. The only thing I do not like about this filter is that my lens cap does not fit. So I have to remove the filter when I am done with my lens. does K&F sell a cap for this lens?

great quality filter
A great flexible and well designed filter that offers great picture quality. No need to spend big money this does the job just fine for most people. Maybe if you're professional doing high end stuff but even then the difference between this and a more expensive version is going to be minimal.

For the right job - a good tool at a great price!
To make it short - this combo filter is very good value for money, as long as you're getting it for the right reasons. While not quite up there with "pro-level" filters in terms of quality, it does a great job for what it is.Firstly, the main appeal of this filter is combining CPL and variable ND functions onto one - which saves you from having to stack multiple filters (which may end up not working well together) and makes for one less piece of glass between your lens and your target. I've noticed no flaws whatsoever in how the two functions work together - no Xs, no artifacts. The CPL part of the filter is very, very good. The variable ND part is... fine. Better than a lot of filters in this price range. There is still a slight brownish cast from it, but it's totally consistent and very easy to correct in post-processing. Just don't expect stellar results right out of the camera, without a couple of clicks' worth of extra work!In terms of filter factor, it's more or less spot on - it's a little bit more than 1 stop of light at the lowest setting (ND2), but at the highest setting it seems to be pretty much exactly 5 stops of light - not the 5 and a half you'd get if you took an ND32 filter and put a CPL over it.However, the real question is: do you need this filter? Because the max setting of ND32 is generally a bit too light for landscape photography off a tripod (you'll want an ND64 or even ND100 filter there). For longer telephoto lenses (over 200mm focal length), you really don't need this kind of filter for the obvious reason that you're not likely to be getting too much light. For wide-angle lenses, the CPL portion makes it a complete no-go - on anything shorter than 35mm focal length, it'll completely mess up your image with those uneven shadows (not the filter's fault - but CPL is really not designed for that). So, what is this for, exactly?Well, I can't speak for video usage - but in stills photography there's one area where this filter really excels, and that is for handheld shooting in bright daylight conditions with large, wide-aperture lenses at the higher end of portrait and lower end of telephoto: in other words, lenses between 80mm and 200mm focal length and f/2.8 or less when wide open. This allows you to really control and thin out your depth of field and shoot at shutter speed that will minimize noise, while being able to control more of the stray light from reflections thanks to the CPL.I use it for creative photography with just two such lenses, both totally manual: the Samyang 135mm f/2, and the Helios 40-2 (85mm f/1.5). It is very handy with both, really hits a sweet spot for usability despite how bulky those lenses themselves are, and really brings out the kind of extreme subject isolation and bokeh both of them are capable of. So, if you own monster prime lenses of that kind (between 80 and 200mm, f/2.8 or less) - this is a great filter you really will find useful. But beyond those? Might be worth checking something else!Otherwise, my only other criticisms are about ergonomics: the filter uses some kind of non-standard thread on the outside, and has too little thread left anyway to screw anything over it - so if you were thinking of putting a hood or any other sort of attachment over it, you'll have to forget it. And on too of that, the little "handles" for controlling the ND variation stick out just a bit too far from the body of the filter... so you can't really attach a lens hood behind it either, save for a flexible rubber one - and even then, the "handles" will likely deform it a bit. Long story short - expect this filter to always end up on the very end of your optical train, and expect to have trouble even fitting a lens cap over it without it constantly falling off. It's not a big deal as far as I'm concerned - but you may find yourself putting this filter on and taking it off to store it in a box every time you go out to shoot. Not ideal if you want to put it on a lens and forget about it.All in all though, I'm very happy with it! Worthy buy and a handy tool to use.
