Smartwares GTS-001-DT Solar LED Garden Light [Energy Class A++]

I saw this product at John Lewis 3 times more expensive... so i bought them 2 here (still cheap). Also bought some other solar lights in a jar as well (way too expensive and cheese one of them broken had to send them back).I love them, they look good in the garden anywhere and lights are very pretty. Hope last long! I'm going to buy them more! Thank you~

Have only given 3* as one of the Jars had a chip on the side ... very odd as they where well packaged . Don't think these will last for very long as I can already see condensation in the jars which means the seal is poor . Wait n see

I have a roof garden and no power on it so I need solar lights. These are amazing. So pretty and effective. Very good value and delivered the next day. So much nicer too than a Mason jar with string lights stuffed into them which is what most of this type of light usually is. The light is in the lid so the whole jar lights up. So pretty.

Loved this light, it was just what I wanted for my summer garden. It gives a nice but not too bright light and I was so pleased with it and thought it good value for the money. However after about 1 week of use, the solar mechanism went wrong. Light was staying on in bright sunlight and then the next day would not work at all. And unfortunately it has not worked since. I thought of buying another one, as maybe I was just unlucky but am just using the glass jar and putting a tea light instead!

Brilliant - the lip doesn’t 100% for due to the inside which you can see there is like a bump but if you have a play it pretty much sits right - reading reviews I wasn’t sure but so glad I got one I wish it came in different sizes as would buy more

Absoluteness to the key with this one, Great quality and they look great! I like the way the lid is removable and the light is within the lid making it possible to add glass stones or decoration in the bottom of the jar! Ended up buying 5 in total :)

2 came on for 2 days then one started to cloud and has not worked again Shame they looked so lovely as a pair

Yes these lights are cheap, but they are still not worth the money. Having read some of the previous reviews, I made sure that I had the lid of the light on properly and as tight as I could get it. They let in water - one had 1cm of water in the bottom after a rainstorm and could not be saved. So I sealed the lid of the others with clear bathroom sealant. Only to find after a rainshower today that two of them have water in. It seems to be a fault in the lid with the solar panel not being sealed properly and letting in water.So they are great if you don't mind having to run out and get them in whenever it rains.
