Superior Engine System Outboard Motor 4-strok Inflatable Fishing Boat

My battery power trolling motor would not cut it because of lack of maneuverability in wind and inability to keep up with charge. So I purchased this 7hp. Motor to help with this. It did everything I expected it to do. I was able to get to spots faster and it had enough thrust to get me back in the wind. Started up fine and seemed to run a little better after about 5 hours of use. My only concerns are that the on/off switch pretty flimsy. The latch that holds the motor down in the water when in reverse, must be bent because I couldn’t get it to latch. (At the lake, no tools). This is what I would consider typical of quality you would expect. Just sayin. Don’t expect to go skipping across the water with this. With my 10’ raft and about 500 lbs on board, it did not quite plane out. Still I was able to travel around a couple miles from camp and not worry about getting back when bad weather hit!

I like the fact that the motor appears to be solid and well-built. It is approximately 13 in across the top of the motor bye 19 in deep and the overall length is approximately 44 in. The motor is significantly bigger and heavier than I had anticipated I'm guessing that it weighs maybe 45 lb.I'm looking for indications that prove that it is actually water cooled with the real plus with me. It after I confirm it I will update my evaluation. The instructions are somewhat confusing because it includes information with regard to multiple models and it's hard to determine which one I have.

When you try to idel down to a slow troll speed it nocks and blows large amounts of smoke.

I originally bought this to mount on my kayak but quickly learned it was far too heavy for a kayak....Soooooo I mounted it on a gheenoe! On a 14.5ft gheenoe it did FANTASTIC!! Moved along at about 16 KNOTS! would defiantly buy again.

I like the motor however it was advertised as liquid cooled which it is not

Easy set up, fast delivery, filled it, tested it, ran it yesterday for a five hour day on the water, absolutely no problems so far! A bit louder and more vibration than I had expected but still quieter than my old ‘rude and better than paddling! Lol

You can see clear as day that it has a Air Cooled single mounted to it? Why do you need further testing to determine if it is water cooled, I assure you it is not. Looks to be a good motor
