Pretty strong. Haven't had one tear yet. I use for... • Garbage • Compost • Grocery shopping (rather than the clear plastic bags available at the stores) • No scent so I can store my plant foods until ready to use I'm very happy with these biodegradable bags and it's a shame they are currently unavailable here.

Use these instead of expensive ones in store, they are great for the price. Can't fill them to top because it will break if to heavy, but they pretty much all do that. We love them and they keep odors in

I bought these bags a few months ago, so far not much complaints, performed well for the purpose, but looks like they increased the price a lot.
