It may be small but the blade is very thick steel with a nice edge on it. The craftsmanship is top notch. Every part is assembled with care to achieve a smooth working knife with no wable and play in the blade. The knife weighed more than I expected. The scales are beautiful and well polished. They feel solid in the hand. I wish there was a way to tell if they were real mammoth tusk. I guess you just have to trust the maker on that one.I am proud to spend my money on something crafted by hand by artisans who care and aren't off somewhere in a far off land just knocking stuff out.
