Bellemain Extra Thick Flexible Plastic Cutting Board Mats Non-Skid with Food Color Codes (Set of 4) (15"x11")

I love these! They are so helpful! Red for meat, green for veggies, blue for fish, yellow for bread. No cross contamination. Easy to clean, I wash them in a sink full of warm sudsy water, or stand them up in the dishwasher. Easy to store, I stand them on edge in the side of my cabinet. I definitely recommend these.

First, I have to say, I'm not much of a cook, but I'm pretty sure these cutting board mats will excel in the kitchen, doing the job they were meant for!!! I enjoy doing a variety of art and craft at home, and because I don't have a lot of space to spread out and make everything I want to create at any one time, I began using plastic place mats to protect my table/work surface from accidents and messes, and to make clean-up easier so I can switch from one art/craft to another, and still use my table for meals. I thought I hit the jackpot when I discovered plastic cutting board mats, because they were durable enough to last awhile longer than the place mats, but, they still wore out from constant use. When I was searching for replacement cutting board mats, I discovered Bellemain Extra Thick Flexible cutting board mats, and it was the 1mm thickness that won me over to give them a try.Now, I know I definitely hit the jackpot!! They have performed above and beyond my expectations. They take Sculpey tools real well, no dents or damage from the tools, plus, they have a very nice smooth finish for rolling out the clay and not having unwanted dips or dings in the clay. I can tape my watercolor paper to them, and when it's time to switch to another project, I can leave the painting on the cutting board mat to dry, and they are sturdy enough to stack together w/o having to remove my unfinished painting, and be ready to go the next time I want to paint. I even tried using them to make paper cutouts and stencils, and they held up under my exacto knife!! The non-skid grip gave me better control with that project, too!!I am very happy and satisfied with the quality and performance of Bellemain cutting board mats, and would definitely buy them again and recommend them to others!!!

I do like these cutting mats because they’re sturdy and flexible, but after a couple months of use, mine started to warp by bowing up in the middle. I’ve actually had food roll off it and/or bounce around some while I’m chopping because of the way it bows up. Since the bottom is non-slip (which is a plus), I can’t just flip them over and use the other side. I store them flat, and I wash them by hand rather than in the dishwasher. I’ve even tried just washing them with warm water in case hot water was causing them to warp, but, while it may have helped keep them from warping quite as quickly, it didn’t seem to make much difference in the long run. The only mat this hasn’t happened to yet is my red one, because it doesn’t get used as frequently as the others did.

One of the cutting boards had a crack in it and had a piece broken off of it

The boards that showed up did not match the features of the product listing, so that is the reason for 3 stars. In the listing it made a big deal of non stick circles on the back of the board, and the boards did not have a hole in them to hang them or handle.The boards that showed up had a silicone grid backing, and they have a oval hole on one corner. Its kind of frustrating because I would have preferred no hole, I bought these because of that one feature. But since they are so cheap, and they are just cutting boards, I will just use them.Also after one use, I and a little surprised how much knife damage they have taken, so they are not any more durable that a standard board. The assumption that they are potentially a higher quality plastic that resists cutting more in not warranted. But I do appreciate the actual use of silicone for the non slip surface on the backing. Most boards in this price point are just made of one material, and the back is not very sticky for a non slip grip.Edit:The seller has updated the listing to reflect the product better. These mats are sturdy and stick well on our stainless steel counter. Using 2 hands, pressing down from the center to the edges does the job. Thank you for a great product.

Great, simple cutting boards. I wanted multiple sizes of easy to clean cutting boards, so I bought this set and cut them to the sizes I wanted. (I like having a small cutting board for cutting up an apple or other small item without getting a large cutting board out.) I used my kitchen shears and easily cut the sizes I wanted then trimmed the corners to a curve. I cut the yellow one into fourths, the *green one in half, and left the blue and red ones full size. I couldn’t be happier with them. The non slip surface on the back works well, and I’ve washed them all in the dishwasher with no problems yet. I say ‘yet,’ because this type of plastic cutting board will eventually weather with use and dishwashing, but this set seems to be as good as any other plastic cutting mats of similar price.*I actually already had another green one about the size of these half sheets, so I now have three green that size. (Not pictured since it didn’t come with this set.)

I bought a similar product and liked it, but this product is a little sturdier. The countertop on my kitchen island is Formica and I use these cutting boards to protect the surface. They are flexible enough to be able to bend them to unload the food into a bowl or skillet. They are colorful and brighten up my kitchen.

The mats are as described-- not for chopping but cutting-- I use them on top of wooden chop board..
