SEEKONE 2000W Professional Heat Gun 50℃- 600℃ Variable Temperature Control

I primarily got this SEEKONE hot air gun for my 3D printing hobby, specifically for helping to mould or form certain prints, and it's been an excellent tool for the job. What initially attracted me was the price. It was significantly cheaper than many other professional-grade models, but it absolutely does the job I need it to, making it fantastic value for money. It heats up very quickly, which is a massive plus when you just want to do a quick adjustment. The variable temperature control is the most important feature for my use case. It gives me the fine control I need to soften PLA or PETG prints for moulding or smoothing without just melting them into a mess. The lower temperature settings are perfect for this. The gun itself feels sturdy and well-built, not at all like a cheap tool. It's comfortable to hold, and the overload protection gives me a bit of peace of mind. The included accessories are a really nice bonus, especially the concentrator nozzles, which are great for focusing the heat on a specific part of a 3D print. Overall, I can't complain. It's a powerful, versatile hot air gun that was much cheaper than the big-name brands but performs brilliantly. Highly recommended for other hobbyists or for general DIY tasks.

We're doing up our house, the woodwork has been painted again and again over about 40 years' and so has thick yellowed, running paint which has annoyed me since the day we moved in about 18 months ago. It is a massive and time consuming task and the thought of paint remover being inhaled and remaining lingering in the house was not very appealing hence purchasing this. Whilst I have what feels like a lifetime of paint to remove the task has been started and I'm actually enjoying it. It's kind of therapeutic watching the paint bubble up and then scraping 200 layers of paint off to reveal the wood that hasn't seen daylight since the 70's. The gun is easy to use, the attachments I've used so far have been good, it heats up quickly, cools down pretty quickly too and is making a very tedious task easier to tackle. I have discovered that the stairs have not only been painted but also varnished. This took the paint layers off and then dealt with the varnish layer well too, bit by bit the wood is being revealed and without this gun I'm not sure what approach I could have taken. There is some smell but it clears quickly and is not anything like the smell that paint remover creates. I have two children and animals and a set of lungs myself that I value so paint remover was not the top of my list. If like me, you need something to help tackle the dreaded over painted surfaces of the past then I can recommend this gun as a pretty cheap, easy and effective tool that does the job.

A great little machine. I’m glad I bought it – especially at that price. It saved me hours of sanding and scraping while restoring some old sash windows. Paint and rock-hard old putty came off the frames easily. The only thing I don’t like is the short length of the power cord which restricts freedom of movement. Otherwise, I would have given it 5 stars.

Really happy with purchase. It's very light weight and easy to use. I had tried to strip coffee table with varnish stripper but it was a waste of a lot of time and money however, this hot gun made it so much easier and now I'm on to my next table. Just remember to turn the heat up on the dial as I forgot to start with!

Chesp as chips. Does the job just as good as leading brands. Plenty of attachments . Light weight. Would recommend.

Old Bosch unit went kaput after years of ad hoc service , so gave this a try ,, so far so good , does what it’s supposed to do and better than expected . Whether it will last for years or not , who knows , but lots cheaper than the big tool brands

Wish I’d purchased it sooner. I needed to strip back the stair bannister but had been dreading it as there were multiple layers of gloss to get through….one of those jobs that keeps getting delayed because you know it’s going to be labour intensive and hard work……this gun made it so easy; took all the pain out of the job and the paint simply lifted off with zero effort! It’s easy to use and highly effective. With adjustable temperature settings and different fittings, a job I expected to take ages was done in a much shorter timeframe. So satisfying seeing the paint just starting to bubble and then simply scraping it away with sheer ease - not hard work at all. I went from dreading the job to enjoying it. What’s not to like? The flex is pretty short but easily overcome with an extension lead.
