Posi-tap Connectors, 10-12 Gauge Wire, Pack of 5

These work so good to slice a wire into another one, they’re quick easy and never lose connection.

These connectors worked exactly as needed to fix my outdoor lighting. Rabbits (or whatever was living under my porch) chewed through the wiring of one of my landscape spotlights. These posi-tap connectors allowed me to repair/reattach the spotlight instead of having to replace the whole assembly. It took less than 2 hours, and was simple enough to do with wire-strippers and a utility knife. And liberal applications of electrical tape. It's a tight fit for separated 10-12 gauge landscape wire, but I didn't need to modify the posi-lock at all. It was much easier in my opinion than trying to strip the landscape wiring and splice with wire-nuts, although admittedly more expensive.

Nice and easy to use. Just strip the wires, insert everything and screw it all together. Definitely a better solution then using vamp clips.

I love these things. They are so useful and I know that my connection is solid and lasting! Much better than T-taps, although a little bigger to work with which could be an issue for some. I have these along with many other types so I'm prepared for most projects.

These are worth every penny. The price seems high, but I installed a remote car starter with these and they work like a champ. If I want to sell the car and keep the starter I can just unplug it and seal the tiny little hole these suckers make. Try doing that with those cheap things at the hardware store that basically cut the wire in half.

Used this to join 10 gauge wire to 18 gauge and it works like a charm. When you need to join any wires (tested with 12 to 12 and it worked really well) this works.
