Camelbak Big Bite Valve Cover (Blue)

The cap is the best thing as while on treks and trails there is lot of dust in the air. As the mouth-piece is exposed to all this, it can be harmful at times. This cover helps to keep the exposed mouth-piece protected. The cover/cap is done good. It has a snap fit for closure. But like most of the users said, it could have been less bulky-er. Opening and closing the cap, while on the move, is sometimes annoying as it needs both hands to snap-shut it. Installing the cap can be bit of a hassle. You have to pull-out the mouth-piece from the tube, put the cover’s lower part and put the mouth piece back again. Need to be very careful while putting it back, as if the mouth-piece is not fixed properly, it might tend to leak. I think, the cover could have been part of the backpack for some extra bucks. Overall, it’s a must have for every water-bladder.

FYI this is for the big bite valve on the hydration pack, and not the Eddy bottles. I discovered the hard way..! The product is pretty standard, so five stars (even though I haven't used it). Instructions included and there are useful YouTube videos to install it.

It’s a little difficult to fit but worth it. It’s really good and makes the mouth piece safe from contamination.

Use hand sanitiser to slip it on. Does its job.

Compré el protector para una mochila Camelbak Dart, la cual utilicé en una carrera (Spartan Beast) con una gran cantidad de obstáculos con agua, lodo y tierra. El protector cumplió 100% con su objetivo y evitó que la boquilla se ensuciara. Cuando se cierra el protector, es difícil que accidentalmente se abra, lo cual ayuda mucho si requieres hacer otras actividades deportivas además de correr. Me pareció un precio justo y la entrega fue en excelente tiempo.

Nei primi Camelbak "Mil-spec" era incorporata nel "boccaglio". Adesso non c'è più, ma è un'aggiunta che secondo me è utilissima perché se cammini/corri in ambienti polverosi, o anche solo per lo sfregamento sui vestiti magari sporchi o sudati, mantiene il boccaglio protetto e sempre pulito... e non è poca cosa ;). Si monta in 2 minuti, e si ripaga istantaneamente in igiene e pulizia ;)
