I have a 2007 base mini. The stripes made it look so much better! You do have to trim the strips to fit the hood but as long as you’re good with precision work you will be fine! Make sure you have a measuring tape handy so that way you can get them even. The application to put them on was ok. The water technique works so do it! I was able to peel the stripes up if I needed them to be adjusted. And I found for me it was easier to start at an end side rather than the middle like what the directions tell you to do. Good luck!

Great product, even better customer service
Stripes look great, were easy to install and seem pretty rugged. I damaged the original product and their customer service got back to me within a couple hours letting me know they were in the middle of a hurricane, but would get back to me as soon as possible. Within a couple days not only did they get back to me but completely fixed the problem I had caused.

Really nice stripes, perfect factory match!
Very nice stripes with clear markings for driver and passenger sides. Fit perfectly with no cutting. When installing start with a clean surface and wet car and sticky side of stripe liberally with a sprayer with dish soap added. I started at the front of the hood and worked my way back. It’s important to work slowly with the squeegee to assure no bubbles and try not to lift the stripe off repeatedly as it can get stretched. My passenger side went in great and I totally screwed up the driver side. Too much lifting, stretching and heating to remove a crease, all operator error. Ordered another pair and driver side went on flawlessly. All in for like $70 is a bargain! Don’t jack one up and an even better deal at $35!

Would be a lot easier if these were transfer stickers
I purchased an applied the front and rear stickers to my Mini. They went on fine but would have been a lot easier if they were transfer stickers. Instead you have to wet the car and then wet the sticker so you can slide it around and get any bubbles and liquid out. It would have gone on easier if a transfer backing allowed me to move them into place so I could make sure the drivers side decal and passenger side were aligned.
