A fun way to teach verbs and nouns.

Love the book, but shipping was disappointing as the book arrived bent.

A really fun introduction to the idea of nouns and verbs. It offers not just the definition of nouns and verbs, but also how they rely on wach other, providing a nice jumping off point for discussing sentance structure. Engaging illustrations; my son (Kindergartener) loves looking at the pictures and "extra" dialog in the pictures.

The story was pretty fun, but a little contrived to follow up the grammar sort of themes established by Punctuation Takes a Vacation.It's more of an exercise in recognizing and using nouns and verbs than it is either a story or a grammar reference. There are a (very) few fun exercises at the end of the book.

I used this book with my second grade students, and they loved it. It was a great way to integrate nouns and verbs into a lesson in a fun way. The pictures are really cute too! And they loved seeing what each noun or verb does and says.
