Common Weeds: Coloring Book

She thought it was hysterical that I bought her a coloring book of weeds, but once she started coloring and reading she thought it was pretty cool. The book has good information and the pictures are lovely. I like to teach the grandkids how important and valuable "weeds" are. We spend hours just in the yard identifying these gems. Books like these make it so accessible for the younger set to learn what treasures and helpers grow right under our feet.

Interesting information about weeds including drawings of each weed, which can be colored. Interesting book.

A gift for an avid colorer. She is a bit fussy about the images she colors and was delighted with this book.

Love this little coloring book, helps pass the time when my daughter wants me to hang out with her and color. I get the herb book and she gets Frozen!

This is a very interesting coloring book. The weeds the picture look like the real thing in there every day plants that we run across all the time.

Beautiful pictures, very nice. And the weeds included are very common ones that we encounter daily in most of the U.S. I bought this book to use in a class about edible weeds and wild flowers. Some of the captions at the bottom of the pages (under the pictures) however, discuss the plant ONLY from the perspective of it being a bothersome weed. That's fine, but required a bit more explaining on my part to our class participants (one person's weed is another person's dinner!)

This was on my daughter in laws Christmas list so it was bought as a gift. Nice coloring book at a great price.

Really well done illustrations, have not colored them in yet, a good way to learn to identify some interesting plants. There are several similar books in the series, all are worthwhile.

I haven't started it yet but am looking forward to colouring, lovely outlines of weeds

Nice colouring book. One person's weed is another's herb. The drawings are not too detailed so you have room to add some shading if you wish or just colour block. I use these books to colour with my Mother. She has dementia and enjoys them.
