**Q: Can I drill a 1/2" hole in metal stud?**
A: -you can,... but this is a chuck.  -to drill a hole you need a drill bit.  -this is a 3/8 chuck... to drill a 1/2 hole with this your drill bit will need to fit in a 3/8 chuck... or to answer your question no, it won't, with a standard 1/2 drill bit.  -so, you either need to turn your drill bit down to 3/8, or use a 1/2 chuck (not available in 1/4 inch drive)

**Q: Will this fit the dewalt 20v xr die grinder?**
A: The DEWALT Die Grinder will accept any 1/4" shank mounted wheel, rotary file, or carbide bit designed for precision metal removal. We have not tested the DW0521 with the Die Grinder.

**Q: Where can you get one with a key chuck?**
A: Hello, we apologize for the inconvenience.  Please contact DEWALT directly so we may assist you with the correct chuck for your tool.

**Q: How do I release a bit when it's stuck?**
A: DO NOT grab the bit with your bare hands! There could be metal shavings which may become splinters.

First, try expose the tip by turning the nose cone.

The nose cone may need to be removed (if applicable). 

Use a pair of pliers to pull the bit out. Note, certain models and nose cones may have a release mechanism at the end of the screw gun.
