The Truth About Magic: Poems

I have all of his books. He is one of the few instagram poets I like. His poems are simple and short but very beautiful. I also read more complex poetry. But Atticus poems are perfect to read or reread on a day when you want to do some light reading. The photos are gorgeous as well. Would buy future books from him.

I bought all 3 together and I don't want to write a review for each, but it's Atticus so does it need any review? He is amazing...from being a ghost- to his simplistic but beautiful writing Atticus is a poet everyone can relate to and therefore should read

Returning to regularly reading of poetry and this was a great first step back into it something I didn’t know I was missing.

I have been waited so anxiously for Atticus’s third book “THE TRUTH ABOUT MAGIC.” to be released. Having read his first two books, I knew it was going to be nothing short of wonderful. As typical Atticus, his poetry comes from a place that I know not of; but each and every single page is beautiful and pertains to everyone’s life in some way. Also, the photos in the book are beautiful. I would highly recommended buying this book! You will not be disappointed. And, if you do not know Atticus’s work, I suggest you buy all three of his books. Believe me, it will not take long for you to become an avid Atticus fan! Perhaps, like many of us avid Atticus fans, you might end up with a tattoo that pertains to your life! Jump into this book, and you will never be the same.

The dude nailed it. Everything from the words, to the language, to how he uses language is on point. Love is probably the hardest subject to write about. It is hard to take a subject that has been done to death and somehow make it fresh and energetic and not contrived and hackneyed. Atticus' poems are like M&MeLittle bite-sized nuggets of sweet wonder. Even the quotes and affirmations sound cook. I'm always iffy about poetry books with photography, because it seems gimmicky, but the pictures work. The nude female images, especially. Something about a woman's curves....yes ! Buy this one and give it to friends !

I love Atticus and have all his books. The other two are a little better but this one still had some touching and relatable poems. The illustrations and photos are really pretty throughout as well.

This book is perfect. I love Atticus. Collecting his books has been a goal and I’m so happy to have been able to get this book.

I have always enjoyed this author's insights. This collection of his thoughts are well worth reading.

Just woooow! I tried that poet for the first time and I fell in love with him! Illustrations and the poems are just absolutly stunning! Good for the heart, mind and soul! Must read for every poet lover 😍

Atticus always finds his way to your heart. Read this book while listening to "Saturn" by Sleeping at Last. You won't regret it.
