Demons and Druids Review
This book is the third in the series of Daniel X by the well known and well respected James Patterson. He has brought back Daniel and his list to once more take down an alien who is wanted on the planet Earth. Not only does this book enhance Daniels power with the ability to turn back time but also delves more into the death of his parents. When Daniel moves on to number 3 on The List a raging alien made of fire called Beta Phosphorus he also seems to be weakening in his powers. Except for the new learning of time travel other than that he hasn't been able to control his power at will lately and hes starting to wonder if he can handle all thats around him. And that may be fatal to all that he protects on earth. If beta continues to sell earth's tree and and animal life on his home planet as tender there may not be much left.Iy may even hurt his friends.Besides from Daniel's obvious worrys of the world and his powers this story turns into another of James Patterson's funny young adult books and is alot different from his more grim adult books. These actually show humor and good play even before Adam sandler joined him on this one which improved on an aspect of his younger books that always was a highlight. The only thing that annoys me about Mr. Patterson these days though is his over pronounced belief in global warming and the emphasis put on it. I kinda worry about the influence it may have on those younger into actually believeing something that is even totally proven yet. Hes starting to do this in the Daniel X series and has been in Maximum Ride. I have nothing against a little talk of recycling but its getting alittle too heavy and I'd rather get to the story. But otherwise great story and fast read.Maybe too fast to not wait for paperback also but if you buy it don't be surprised if you read for 5 straight hours and laugh the entire time.

pretty good
This might not be his best work when compared to the Maximum Ride or the Witch and Wizard books, but it's still worthwhile. I do have to say, as I'm writing this I haven't read the last two books of the series so my review might change by that time. All in all This series is still good. Overall I'm a Patterson fan.

Guess I have to buy it
This is a really good story. Patterson rarely disappoints. I am fully invested in the story now and I haven't even read the first 2.

welcome gift in England
I needed some books to take as gifts for lots of young people in the U.K. and this one was the biggest hit. I guess it's so new that they don't have it there yet. I have to confess, I am an older person and have never read James Patterson's books and never heard of Adam Sadler, (sorry). But just wanted to let Amazon know that this Damiel X book made lots of young teens very happy and made this grandma look cool. Thanks.

Pretty good
I read lots of books for my kids before I pass along and this was one I wasn't sure about. It's kind of a bit weird, with demons and such. It turns out to be pretty good. I probabliy should have started with the first book, but this was the one which caught my eye.

I really love this Daniel Z series
I really love this Daniel Z series. It's so different from the other books Patterson writes. I enjoy the surprises along the way of reading these books too. The whole "how will he get out of this situation now" scenarios, and how he does just keeps me interested, and turning the next page.

If you're a Patterson fan, this delivers in abundance
I've been a James Patterson fan for many years now, I downloaded the Daniel X series as it had been a while since I read the first. Each book has improved upon the last and Patterson delivers a fantastic read, while broaching many different and wonderful subjects. 10/10, this third installment is by far the best, I can't wait to start the fourth
