Very useful
I have used a bigger version of this for a while, but find this small one extremely useful. Can never have enough ways to attach wood to the lathe.

Almost perfect but…
This is ideal for starting smaller projects, very well made, nice clean threads (well machined) just one thing that would of made it perfect. Some sort of flat edges or a hole on the shaft of the threaded area. I only say this incase it over tightens on the lathe. Luckily I haven’t had it happen (luckily) but my other face plates have some way of being able to remove them if they should lock up on the lathe. Again it’s a good addition to my collection but I always like a fail safe just incase.
