SMALL Textured Spoons for Feeding Therapy (3 Pack)

I bought these for my daughter (1) when she started occupational therapy for feeding around 10 months old. The therapist had provided a spoon that was double-ended with texture on both ends and was silicone, but I wanted something a little easier to feed her with. The spoon she had at the time had the texture in the divot of the spoon and I would have to basically feed her with the spoon upside-down to get the texture on her tongue along with the food. When I found this set of spoons I thought they would be great, and they mostly were. The only things I didn't like was that the divot wasn't very deep so I couldn't get larger amounts of food on at one time and I would have preferred if they were silicone instead of hard plastic. This is mainly because my little one, like many others, enjoys biting down on the spoon and there were a few times it bothered her teeth by biting down on the hard plastic.Overall, I think the product was good and did the job it was intended for.

My one year old son has texture issues with certain foods (mostly anything with more texture than a smooth purée or yogurt). He’s in feeding therapy. The feeding therapist recommended getting textured spoons to help him feel the texture on his tongue while still eating the purées. We’ve been using these for maybe 3 weeks and last week he ate his first solid food! I highly recommend to anyone who’s kid has texture issues.

These are my sons favorite spoons! They keep purées on better with the textured bottom. He was born with a birth defect that effects his eating and this was the first spoon he took off with.

My 1 year old has had a rough time adjusting to eat food and is in physical therapy and these spoons are a game changer they help get him over his issue with opening his mouth for the bite and he is very defensive when we try to put the spoons to his mouth but he is slowly coming around thanks to these spoons!!!
