Orange Chocolate Sponge Candy

I was up in NEW YORK state in Oct. I could not find any sponge candy. Ordered it online. Very good, but a little pricey!

Shipping was excellent and the chocolate is beautiful and delicious. Will absolutely be buying again!

Every year my future wife and I buy candy for each other and I find myself cleaning out of the cabinets months later uneaten. This year with her being from Buffalo, I got her this sponge candy that she ate with her grandpa when she was younger. The woman that never cries started to tear up. By far worth the money and this is the best chocolate I have ever had! Thank you!

The texture is great, which is important in seafoam candy

The milk chocolate is amazing but the pieces are small and it overpowers the sponge portion which is really good just hard to taste. Pieces need to be bigger so there is more of the sponge. If they made the pieces bigger it would be perfect. It is the best I could find online.

I had this shipped to Texas in mid-December. The package arrived quicker than anticipated. It is for a gift, so I did not open the plastic wrapping on the box. If I jostle the box gently, I can tell the pieces are not melted together, but they do seemed to be packed well. There is not any rattling around like I would hear from candy loosely packed. I expect them to be fully intact. I am very pleased with this purchase.

PLEASE keep in mind I am reviewing this company's sponge candy based on my personal preference for sponge candy........Moving on: This was very well packaged to protect the candy from melting and delivered much faster than expected. I prefer my sea foam candy when the pieces are not uniform in shape, this candy is extremely uniform, each piece looks the same. I prefer equality between the chocolate and the spun molasses center. The chocolate taste and quality on this candy are superb, the chocolate just overwhelms the molasses center. I also prefer my center to be crunchy, but not rock hard as some pieces can get when they lose their freshness. The center of this candy is exactly the way I like it, fresh and just the right amount of crunch, but when I took all the chocolate off on one piece, to see what the center tastes like w/o so much chocolate, I found the center had no flavor.Because the chocolate is so tasty, and the box of candy so nicely packaged, I think this would make a really nice gift for any occasion, and especially for chocolate lovers!
