Love, love, love these pants! I have worn them for work (university setting), for casual & sports. They are my 'go to' pants for winter, especially for skiing (under ski pants) b/c they stretch to work with skiing movement, easy to tuck into ski boots & 2 zip-close pockets keep essentials safe. They are also great for winter/spring biking b/c the legs taper and do not get into bike gears. (I don't like the sewn center leg crease; but my seam-ripper made quick correction to that.) I have finally retired my previous pair after ~15 yrs; but not before I replaced them!

I love the wind resistance of these pants. This was my second pair,( the first lasted years). Only issue is the fit is not as nice. These are baggier. Not enough to size down, because of crotch length, although in seam is a little long for me which I can deal with. Hi

I returned. These didn't do anything to flatter my figure.

Overall, I'm happy with these pants. I bought them for cross-country skiing. I wore them on a sunny day about 32 degrees with a thermal base layer underneath and I was too hot at a moderately aerobic pace. I think these pants would have been perfect without the thermals.I'm 5'4", 135 lbs, athletic build, so I bought the size medium to make sure they wouldn't be too tight. The fit is very comfortable, just roomy enough without being baggy. The rise is a little higher than I would normally wear and the waistband is very thick.The pants have a very durable feel to them and the weave is tight enough to offer some protection from the wind but they are still super stretchy and don't bind anywhere during exercise.If I had to list any cons, I would say that the fit is not very flattering and I wouldn't wear these anywhere except for skiing. For the price, I would like to be able to wear them more than a few times a year, but on the other hand they'll last forever!

For the past 30 years, I have had various SportHill tops and pants. The 3SP fabric is simply the best all-around cold weather wear and wears like iron. I wear these under alpine ski pants or wear as the top layer with a thin underlayer for nordic skiing, snowshoeing and walking in Maine winters. I ordered a women's XL based on my previous garments and hoped that the xl would fit me due to some weight gain. I was surprised that the cut of these pants was very generous, almost too big in the seat and thigh for me. Not sure if I'll return and try a large or not. The only thing to improve SportHill pants is to make them in a petite length please!

I've been hiking 10-15 miles/week with my dog for 10 years, in all kinds of weather, down to around 15°F (we don't often hike when it's below that.) I bought these pants for this winter season hoping for something that would eliminate the need for heavy layers. This is the best pair of pants I've ever worn for our daily hikes. I wear them alone from about 30° - 45°, & add a pair of "silk" long underwear when it's below 30°. They allow totally urestricted movement, a must for the trails we hike. If it's raining or snowing very hard, I'll wear a pair of unlined nylon wind/water proof pants over them for added protection. No more hiking in so many bulky layers I can't bend over or climb! And sometimes I wear them to go shopping on a cold windy day, just because I can! Worth every penny. I highly recommend these pants.

Wears like a beast. Does show pilling, but not much of a bother as wear mainly to walk and ramble with dogs, garden and hang out. Feel like my new best friend. My daughters think they look manly, but I really don't care. Love 'em. Oh, started off a bit floppy looking, but after several washings, some shrinkage occurred and they fit better. Got a size large - am 5'4" and 150 lbs.

We cross country ski all winter. These pants fit perfectly, are warm, shed snow and water and are comfortable. An absolute must for this kind of skiing. Last forever
