Exceeded expectations that were already pretty high!
I'm in agreement with all of the other highly positive reviews here. This BookBook iPhone case is just plain awesome. I am a male who carries an iPhone and a wallet. I have been using as small of a wallet as possible for many years now because I just hate having a big, fat, uncomfortable bulge on my butt! When I upgraded phones to the iPhone 6+, I decided to give the BookBook case a try. I read reviews on other similar products too, but decided to go with Twelve South's product for a few reasons:First--the reviews are outstanding, and other products are more mixed. Criticisms of competitors' were relevant to me (book not closing, cards not fitting), so I'll leave that up to YOU to decide.Second--I really like the idea that I can remove my iPhone from the BookBook and still keep it protected by their integrated plastic case. This is a big factor for me because I sometimes use my iPhone as a GPS, and need it to be able to connect to a phone holder in my cars. So I am using this BookBook and also another really cool product called the iMagnet (http://www.amazon.com/iMagnet-Cradle-less-Universal-Windshield-Dashboard/dp/B008IOQ3K6). If you haven't seen one of those... it's basically a very strong magnetic mount that will stick to a thin metal sleeve that you either affix to the back of your phone, or slide it inbetween the phone and a case. It is compatible with this BookBook case, as those thin metal sleeves fit nicely behind my iPhone 6+ and the back of the plastic case that comes with the BookBook.Third--the pictures that I could find of this "book-looking" case appeared to be nicer than others out there. The in-person view is even better. the leather is soft, and old-looking just like you'd expect from a leather-bound book. The spine of this thing really does look like a book you'd find in the back of an old library somewhere. I chose brown, and I'm delighted with it.One concern I had was whether or not the case would close nicely when all loaded up. I slid two photo ID's in the photo slot, 1 credit card in each of the next three slots, and two insurance cards in the top slot. I also have a few dollar bills in the bill holder but I don't carry much cash. As equipped, it closes just fine.. I originally had 3 other low-priority cards in this but decided I could leave them in my car because with that many extra cards it was a little too fat for me and didn't close well enough. The only down side that I can say today is that dollar bills don't fit unless you fold them a little. This is really not Twelve South's fault though--it's a matter of dimensions of the iPhone 6+. The phone just isn't as tall as a dollar bill, so for Twelve South to make a case that's perfect for a dollar bill means that it would be too long for the iPhone. I like their compromise on this one. I folded the top half-inch of 5 bills to get them to fit and it's just fine this way. I would not recommend this case if you carry lots and lots of cash though, unless you want to use a rubber band to hold it closed.Overall, I'm thrilled and highly recommend it.

Very Happy with this Case
NOTE: I would have given this 4.5 stars, if allowed.A number of years ago, I decided to simplify the number of items I carried day-to-day and consolidated my wallet and iPhone protection into a single case. (You can find some unique handmade items on Etsy.)To date, I used a sleeve case with pockets on the outside for credit cards, ID, etc. This is primarily because I always preferred a "naked" iPhone instead of one that's in a case all the time. I've always liked the way the phone felt in my hand but also, a phone without a case is easier to fit into the mounts I typically have in my car.All that changed when I purchased the iPhone 6 Plus.Simply put, the phone is just so darn large, sleek - and slippery - that I found myself nearly dropping a number of times. With that in mind, I learned about the new BookBook case for iPhone 6 and was immediately drawn to it.* It's made from quality leather that wears beautifully* It holds the majority of my cards* The plastic shell that holds the phone is *removable* making it really easy to put the device in a car mountBecause of the folding case design, it's a bit thicker than the sleeve case/wallets I've used in the past. However, this design also makes it narrower, so it fits a little better in the front pocket of my jeans. So far, I love it.There are some minor caveats, though:* Photos on the Twelve South web site show the inner sleeve holding dollar bills. They don't fit unless you fold them, making the case event thicker. Instead, I continue to put my cash in a money clip.* The credit cards MAY scratch your screen. I say MAY for this reason: When I got the BookBook case, I also installed a tempered glass screen protector on the iPhone 6 Plus. (http://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00NOFJ0TK/) A few days ago, I noticed that one of my very thick fancy pants credit cards was leaving tiny scratches on this screen protector. (I only noticed them because the phone was turned off and the light hit the screen protector in just the right way to make them visible.)Will this scratch the Gorilla Glass on your iPhone? I have no idea and I don't want to find out. It's easier to just swap out the screen protector when it becomes an annoyance.Bottom line: I feel that choosing a case/wallet is a very personal decision. If this kind of case fits your lifestyle, don't hesitate to buy one.

Love this case. It looks great and holds everything I need it to.
I've had this case for a little over a month now. I've previously owned the BookBook for the iPhone 4 and the iPhone 5s and loved them both. This is a definite improvement. I love that the case holding the phone is actually plastic, and not leather wrapped as it is for the 5s. This means there's no leather to peel off the holder. I've also found it handy that the holder slides so that the BookBook can be used as a stand, and can be removed from the leather cover completely, which is great if you need to put your phone in a holder in your car. That was something that was a pain in the covers for the 4 and 5s. I will say that it's a little tricky to get used to sliding at first because you have to slide it all the way to the left to use it as a stand. If you don't slide it far enough over, the case actually detaches from the cover instead (it's meant to). But a little practice and it's all good. The leather is a great quality, and wears in beautifully It takes a little bit for the leather to soften up, and it's a little thick if you use all of the credit card slots, but that's to be expected when you stack all those cards in there. It works just fine for me. The front cover takes on a slightly rounded/humped look when it's full of cards and doesn't lay quite as flat as a true book cover does, but then, a book cover isn't generally holding a bunch of credit cards. All of the buttons are easily accessible and the phone is well protected.

This is strictly for iPhone 6 Plus!
It is wrongly mentioned here in the heading “for iPhone hone 7 plus /8 plus”.it only fits iPhone 6 Plus/6s plus and not compatible for any other iphone.Seller needs to mention its compatibility correctly to prevent confusion at buyers end.

Loved my first Book Book so much, I bought another one!
This is my second Book Book for my iPhone 6S Plus, I tried several other cases between my first and second Book books. None of the others worked as well as he Book Book or were as durable. The new Book Book has corrected a couple of the design issues from the earlier version. The phone and the cards are more secure. I love the ability to remove the phone from the case when I travel and need to show the boarding pass on my phone.

Hi-tech meets old school, for quality lovers who don't follow the crowd.
Bought as a gift for my husband, this traditionally styled mobile phone case gives a quirky, old school look and feel to the iPhone 6 Plus, within a high quality, individual product. Closed, the cover looks like a small and beautifully tooled, real leather-bound, book (great for security). Opened, you have your iPhone easy to hand, plus useful additional features that make this a cut far above standard phone cases. The iPhone 6 Plus sits snugly on the right hand side of the case, within a new slim cover that's easy to detach, easy for mounting in the car if you're using a sat nav app, for example. The left hand side of the case has a clear window, very useful for photo id or a travel season ticket, five pockets for bank cards and a pocket behind all of these for money (notes) or receipts. One of the best new features is the ability to transform the case into a viewing stand. With the increased size of the iPhone 6 plus screen, watching a film or video podcast on a commute is easier (if you can get a seat!). Also good for standing on a desk to use facetime hands free. The back cover of the bookbook has a cut out corner, so you can use the phone and camera without having to slide the iPhone up out of the case to use the camera or video. A much better solution than previous bookbooks, although this is at the expense of case looking like a true book from the back.Having previously bought the original bookbook, I am sure the distressed leather will soften and age just as beautifully over time.My husband loves it and it's often admired, especially when people realise it's a phone case too. A high quality and deeply individual product. I recommend it highly.
