DREAMFOAMBedding Chill 14" Gel Memory Foam Mattress, Queen

It's a much firmer mattress than I expected from memory foam. To that end, if you sleep on your back this mattress is amazing. Unfortunately I'm a side sleeper, and there just isn't much give for your shoulder.My shoulder has generally been sore all day everyday since I got this thing. Got it in April. At night I will wake up to shift positions because my shoulder is hurting too much. What's really unlucky is that I pretty much have to sleep on my right side only (medical reasons we will not get into). I can sleep on my back temporarily but I have to be on my right side.My friend got a cheaper foam mattress made in China, that was the best mattress I ever slept on. I figured this one is a little more expensive and made in the USA, so surely it must be better... Learned that lesson that hard way.I should mention too that the "cooling layer" or whatever it's marketed as is just that - marketing. There is no cooling effect that I could feel, just feels like you're laying on a mattress. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯I would return it but we got it right around when COVID quatantine started happening, so I figure the return process would already be too cumbersome let alone during a global pandemic.

Took a chance and ordered this without trying it out first. I must say I am pleasantly surprised. The mattress is a little on the firm side for a memory foam mattress but still soft enough to relieve all the pressure points without making you sink down too far into the foam. My last memory foam experience left me sweating the night away so I was really into this for the cooling aspect of this mattress and it fits the bill. It’s comfortable and cool and priced right. Even better it’s MADE IN THE USA! I really did not want to buy one from China. I paid slightly more and I waited a little longer for it than I would have had to for a Chinese version sitting in the Amazon warehouse and I’m glad I did. It’s very well made, and so far, the best mattress I have ever owned.

My husband and I sleep together - in the very middle - so we tend to have to start crawling out of the hole in the middle! Our backs have been hurting so we decided to give the memory foam a chance. I have been sleeping like a baby and having no back pain in the morning! My husband couldn't sleep the first few days because it wasn't as soft as our pillowtop. But he has noticed no more back pain. I like the firmness when you first get in bed, but I love that it forms to your body after awhile and I crash! Ordering the same one for our daughters new bed!

I didn’t know how I was going to like it the first night. It is definitely a firm bed. It’s still sinks a little to ur body. But I really like the support. It also softened the more we slept on it. We both really like it now. I have had to learn to sleep on my back a little more since sometimes my shoulders hurt if I’m on my side. But that also might be my pillow. I’d definitely recommend it and it was a very good price.

The mattress expanded to its advertised dimensions and is generally a soft top. While it could have had a slightly firmer feel, the mattress is comfortable and for those with back and hip pain this should provide relief

The mattress itself is amazing. I just cannot get past the smell. Once I opened the mattress on the bed frame, I noticed an unpleasant smell/odor. I allowed the mattress to air out for several hours. It has been two months and lots of Febreze. It is getting better, but I would not purchase another one because of the smell. It is ashame because the mattress is very comfortable.

I LOVE THIS MATTRESS!!!!! It set up completely in about 3 days but it was 90% within about 10 hours so I was able to sleep on it the first night. It did have a slight chemical smell but some febreeze spray masked it and after day 3 it was gone. I haven't slept so good in years! It's perfect! I legit don't know why I waited so long to buy one. I am telling all my friends their next mattress should be this one. BEST SLEEP EVER!!!!!

Is comfortable, but doesn't keep me cool as I had hoped. Still sleeps a little hot.Im not even sure if it's the dreamfoam chill mattress. Didn't say on box or on any paperwork. And since I can't open the mattress itself without destroying it I guess I'll never know. At least not at this time.
