Very Funny
It reminds me of the Handbook for the Recently deceased. Perfectly written and hilarious. X3

Twilight's werewolves are so much better!
Title is inspired from a girl's reaction upon seeing me reading this on the bus. Personally, I like to think of bloodthirsty human-wolf hybrids for what they really are: bloodthirsty human-wolf hybrids. None of this sissy "tear-off-your-shirt-and-leap-into-the-air-like-a-majestic-stag-which-you-could-turn-into-if-your-clan-wasn't-so-hung-up-on-some-old-guy's-death" stuff. But I digress. The Werewolf's Guide gives a very detailed look around the life of a lycanthrope, addressing several issues such as purebloods, work and recommended living places. A very funny book and also probably extremely helpful if you ever encounter a werewolf. Generally, a nice, light read if you aren't a super serious sort of person that thinks hanging out in Starbuck's is fun. As a bonus, it fits in my bookshelf. Nice!

Interesting read
I read this book because I'm interested in werewolves. After finishing this, I now know that there is at least 10 different groups of people after the destruction of werewolves depending on how much you split them up. Before reading this, I thought becoming a werewolf was like turning into a furry with better senses than a normal person. I thought that it was interesting how the author described werewolves similar to autism in the sense that they are still humans. Although it would have been interesting if there was info about cryptids people mistake for werewolves, like the dog man, direwolves, hell hounds, or skin walkers. Any thoughts I had about becoming a werewolf myself have gone away, as after reading this it doesn't fun having to invest the amount of time and resources it would take to live a life longer than a non lycanthrope. A good portion of this book seemed to deal with helping lycanthropes from committing suicide. If I ever have the unfortunate event of meeting a werewolf that didn't follow the instructions in this book, fear will no longer be the main emotion that will come over me, and would more likely be mixed feelings because of what it mentioned about why a werewolf go on a rampage during the full moon.

A life saver for new lycanthropes
This book has everything a newly bitten lyc will need to survive. It covers so many different topics relevant to living as a werewolf from diet, to avoiding detection, to dealing with those nasty blood sucking vamps out there. I'm very glad I read this book, because it's going to help me live with this new condition. I mean... help my FRIEND live with this new condition. Yeah, friend.

Not bad, but not exactly what I was hoping for ...
Not bad, but not exactly what I was hoping for in a good werewolf book. It is overall well written, but mostly focuses on various ways of just locking yourself away, hiding from people or tying yourself down when you make the transformation, which to me would totally defeat the purpose of being a werewolf! See, I prefer to just run into the backwoods and chase down a deer or a few raccoons on those lovely nights! I'd go crazy if I had to be tied down and live on grocery store meat. Must have been written by city wolves who don't know what they're missing out in the wild!

Still as good in adulthood
I read this as a young teen, I may have been too young, and got a craving to read it again. Bought the book used but was in excellent condition. This book is interesting and immersive written like the situation is real, it may well be the book is detailed about how to stay hidden.Worth a read if you like vampires, werewolves and all things supernatural.

A New Favourite
This book blew my mind. Literally. It is a fantastic piece of literature. It's well written, it's funny, it's just sinister enough to give you slight creeps and there is nothing not to love about it.
