Timeless -a book for yesterday, today and tomorrow. This is a must read for a beginning or experienced trader. Probably the best basic business.

Don't buy this book. In fact, don't even touch it!
I don't often write reviews for anything I purchase or read, but... this book may be one of the worst investing/day trading books I've ever read. I did read the other reviews before I wrote this so I won't go into detail as one of them did a great job of slashing this junker like it deserves.Needless to say: Don't buy this. Don't borrow it from the library. Just stay the heck away from this and find a better source of information for your first steps toward becoming a day trader.

Five Stars
A good read in the way of providing principles.

Avoid at all costs.
There is little to nothing of value here for anyone looking for information about day trading. The author writes mostly about investing, and most of the concepts aren't related to day trading at all.For example, the entirety of chapter 10 deals with researching the fundamentals of a company (the annual report, capitalization, the income and balance sheet, etc.) Although this might be useful for a long-term investor serious about the financial health of an investment, it has no value to someone intending to hold an investment for minutes or intra-day.Unfortunately, such confusion is apparent throughout the book. This is all the more frustrating due to a writing style that's lethargic and slow. There was a brief moment of hope with a sub-section titled "Japanese Candlestick Charts", but it too resulted in disappointment. The entire discussion consisted of only one paragraph, culminating with this:"There are many terms that go with the formations that Japanese candlestick charts make; there is also a general consensus with many professional traders that Japanese candlestick charts are inherently too complicated for any serious use."The thesis here is that if it's too complicated, don't use it. This is patently false, I know not a single day trader who doesn't rely on candlestick-style charts. Besides, isn't that the point of reading a book called "The Everything Guide To Day Trading", so one can learn about different approaches and make one's own decision? Unfortunately it's clear the author cut some corners here.Somewhat annoyingly, the author frequently talks about finding trading setups and that with experience one will get better at day trading. Unfortunately not a single actionable strategy or setup is discussed anywhere in the book. It's as if the author ignored the "how" and only chose to focus on the "why".In summary, this book doesn't even qualify as a half-hearted attempt at providing a guide to day trading. It really seems more like an effort at cobbling together disparate pieces of knowledge that have little relevance to the subject in an attempt at collecting a quick authorship fee. Don't waste your money or your time, give this one a pass and keep looking.

Horrible Book
This book explains much of nothing. It gives no specific advice about how to do anything about day trading. It pretty much just explains what day trading is and some of the psychology behind it, but not much about how to go about doing day trading or many useful sites with information on it. Worst book ever. Luckily I borrowed the book from the library and didn't waste a dime on it. Not worth it at all.
