Fill your hopper full again!
Traeger Big Tex. Fan was rubbing until I moved the hopper forward a screw hole. Not having to give those cheap replacement motors "mouth to mouth" in foul weather has been absolutely wonderful. 1.5 months after install, running perfectly...

I'm not sure yet.
Installed on an Oklahoma Joe Rider dlx. Quick if you're handy with a screwdriver. Fits fine if you follow the instructions and relocate the auger retaining screw. Don't pay attention to that review on here from the guy who cut a hole in the side of his hopper to fit the fan. It fits fine if you follow directions and understand basic mechanical stuff.Turns on and runs fine. Not louder than the older smaller one.I have been having a problem maintaining temperature since installing it, and that's why I'm not sure yet. I had used a different pellet, which wasn't very good, so I thought it was that. Bought some better pellets, but not my normal brand, and I still get a 200 degree temperature swing and it only takes it about 20 minutes to do it. Fire gets hot, fire goes out, rinse and repeat. Did a whole unit deep clean with disassembly, still does it.Not sure if it's this gearbox running at a different ratio or what. I'll update if I find an answer, but until then, I can't recommend this.Edit from 3 to 5 stars.Myron Mixon pellets have a near 400 degree temperature swing in my Rider Deluxe. The Traeger Bold Blend has a 300 degree swing. Bear mountain don't work great. Went back to my regular Jack Daniels charcoal pellets and it worked fine. Might be the new gear runs the grill a little different, but my problems seem solved with pellets, so I can't fault this product.

Heavy duty motor
This heavy duty motor was a fairly easy install. Had to drill into the teflon bushing to get it to fit.

Worked well
This thing is a powerhouse until it isn't worked great for four cooks now I'm on the fifth and it's making a horrible grinding noise . I admit I tried the cheapy one first and it did the same thing it lasted only pl12hours now this supposed good one is making the same noise as the previous . I hope it lasts as long as my cook Update I replaced the control board with a pid board and the auger motor is working awesome maybe a bad connection on the old board idk sorry for the bad review

Didn't last
Worked great for 1 year. I would have expected more for the price.

Say goodbye to Auger jams!
Let me begin by saying this thing is an absolute BEAST. It powers through pallets like nobody’s business and is a significant improvement over the stock auger on my PitBoss 1150 Pro Series which I replaced twice already due to my own negligence, leaving pellets in the hopper and not clearing the auger tube. Installed this bad mamma jamma and voilà, no more auger jams, no matter what I do. That said, I do have a little trouble maintaining temperature at lower temps, sub 250 is say. Anything above that I can get it to stay pretty consistent within 50°. Still experimenting with some different pellets, but I think it has something to do with the gear ratio being different.

the right motor speed
This motor fit perfect, all I did is use a terminal tool to remove the Traeger plastic plug connector and switch it out with the one on the new motor. This motor is quiet and powerful, my Traeger came up to temp fast and maintain the high temp perfect. Hopefully this motor will last longer than my original one did. The motor is very heavy due to it's windings on the motor you can feel the quality.

Stator melted
After using it for 2 months it started to pop my fuses which I wasn’t sure what the cause was. Changed the igniting rod, the blower fan and it still kept blowing my fuse. So i finally removed the motor and noticed the box on the stator was all melted. So I changed the motor for a old one I had with bad gears and now my temp control board is fried

Gearbox Failure.
The gearbox was improperly assembled causing the output shaft not to align with the inner bushing. This caused the gear teeth to misalign and the gears to immediately fail.
