Size Name:32 Inch WARNING: Torsion springs, extension springs, and related door hardware can cause serious injury or death if not handled and installed properly. Professional installation is recommended. Do NOT attempt to install springs or hardware yourself unless you have the proper tools, reasonable mechanical aptitude and experience, and upper arm strength. Arrives fast and delivers as expected.
The springs and the two winding bars arrived a little earlier than expected and made me happy as I could start working on the project sooner. After about 1 month and a half using them, everything keeps working well and I see no reason not to continue like that in the many months to come before a new replacement becomes necessary. From time to time I do a visual check and the springs stay put, exactly as they were when I installed them. I am a handyman, so I installed them and a new garage door opener relatively easy after having watched some explanatory videos (I do reccomend you hire an expert if you are not really handy as dealing with springs may hurt you severally). I ended up buying a set of springs a little longer than the ones previously installed (maybe 1" longer in both left and right springs), having caused me to be obliged to compensate the stronger torsion force of the longer springs by reducing the number of spins imposed to each spring when calibrating the balance between their torsion force and the garage door weight so that the garage door would stand still by itself at a half open position. In the case of my garage door that is 7 feet high, I reduced from the usually recommended 21 spins (3:1 ratio) to 18 spins in each left and right springs. That calibrating process took some time and maybe 4 tries readjusting the torsion of the springs before getting to a good equilibrium. All in all, I do reccomend the product and seller and I will definitely buy it again, but hopefully not soon as I expect them to last between 6 to 8 years. We are now on January 30, 2021 (about 14 months after the purchasing and installation in Nov 2019) and the springs keep going strong. I am very happy.

Installs and works as expected
2/11/21 Pair .243 x 1-3/4" ID x 34" -- Installed 12/2020. Used on heavier wood sectional roll-up door. Works as it did before the one old original 35 year old spring broke. They included 18" winding bars but as tension is so high we instead used longer bars bought at the home center. Wound to about 35 quarter turns for this heavy 7' door, but could use a few more turns. Working well for over a month now.

Like a boss!!! Do it yourself and rule the world!!!
My garage door used to go up and down without issue. Then one day it stopped doing its job. Turns out one of the springs was broken. Bummer. Ordered a pair of these bad boys and installed them myself. Watched a 10 minute online video and I felt like I was a pro and the springs hadn't even arrived. Easy install of something I had feared doing for years. My 16 year old son did most of the work while I watched ... errr ... supervised. All of a sudden, the garage door goes up and down and the lady can once again park her car inside. Perfect.

It saved me over $200 to replace these myself. And took just over an hour.

Research spring weights
They work great, but I barely needed a spring with a less pound rating. By the time I wind it up enough to fully coil up my cables it lifts the door off a half inch when closed. I had to do like one less 1/4 turn which causes a little slack on my cable spools. A pro garage tech would know the right spring. I’m lifting a single aluminum door and my garage lifter would lift it without the spring. I’d say when in doubt buy a lighter spring, unless you have a wooden door.

As described, what's not to like?
One of my springs broke, Amazon had a great price and most importantly fastest delivery. Relatively easy DIY fix after watching some online video's. Just make sure you order the proper size and replace both springs at the same time. The kit came with the winding bars which I used to remove the old spring and install new ones.

Working good
Replaced my broken garage door spring set. These springs came complete with the winding tools and exact fit through the spindle. Minor adjustments was easy to balanced the door. I oiled my springs after installation to reduce wear.

Works well
works well, as described, springs have to be tightened after install so be sure you are handy. I recommend UTUBE videos to pick up pointers if you haven't installed these before. I did and it helped out alot. Work safe.
