meinl 8inch splash
This splash is a great little cymbal. I recieved it today in the mail, its a lot smaller then i thought it would be. it says on it that its made in germany but it sounds almost a little bit chinese. the sound is pretty good. fast accent, no ring to it, which is good for a splash. and the price is unbeatle. where else can you get a new splash for 20 bucks? Yes yes yes, zildjian and sabian and paiste's are better but at 140 bucks id rather have 7 of these things. go ahead and buy it its nice.

Great cymbal BUT you get what you pay for
This is a cheap cymbal. That being said, for a $25 cymbal, it's great. It has a decent tone for such a cheap splash and it's a perfect addition to a practice kit to add in some accents and character to your playing. Don't expect a professional sound, but for the price, this cymbal is well worth it.

Great little Accent
What a great little accent when ya need it... And for the amount of times it gets hit... Not often... The price is great. Good quality cymbal.... Not cheap trash.

I love this little cymbal
Great price, great product, great maker, great sound. This is bright little splash with good attack and super-fast decay. I bought it for an effect in a Broadway musical but will find many other applications.

Great!
Had it for a few days, played a couple sets with it and I gotta say, its not the best out there, but man is it cool. Its kinda quiet, but all splashes are so there's not really any argument there. I like the tone as well. I saw a few other people say they hated the tone, so it just kinda depends on the person, I guess. But great little cymbal addition for a great price-- less than $30. Cant beat it!

flat sound
Over all the cymbal is ok. Dontl love the sound for a mini, and the splash is flatter than expected, but it's serviceable. I do think HCS makes a value product.
